Deeply disappointed that Brown has been allowed to leave too.
Sets a dangerous precedence, we should have been a little more hard ball about it now we know that Huddersfield will think it is on to approach players, can definitely see Tui being targeted (him and Siezer would be very tasty) and maybe Yates.
I am shocked that he has let Seb stay for 2021 as he always seemed to really rate him. It’s common place to take your coaching staff, he can’t take all the players. Can’t just pay off all the Hudds players contracts and pay us for ours on contract players. Seb staying, and Sarge, shows it’s not all about Watson. He’s not the pied piper

In the 4 minute online interview with Jenna Brooks,he says he’d like to sign several of the Salford players. So would I. Disappointing, though. There’s another staff member, apart from Brown ,that’s also going with him. Who’s that ?

Has that come from what he said or a 'source'?

ok so now i am even more confused! so club statement said shocked and disappointed that he had gone and eluded to the fact Watson just came in and said he was off. In his interview he said he came in for a recruitment meeting and Directors told him Hudds had come in and they have given them permission to speak to him. So which is true? and lets remember he was under contract and permission to speak to Watson could have been refused. Anyway its history good luck to him we move on Salford rugby will never die

I'd Guess its Greg Brown head of Strength & Conditioning, His Gym is in Huddersfield also.

Just found the interview with Jenna Brooks, it's on the Sky Channel. Interesting, like a kid at Christmas. Wonder why he was given permission to speak to Huddersfield?
I think he'd got to the stage with us where he couldn't go forward any more. Probably burnt out with that last load of matches. Now he'll have the players, coaches, money facilities he wants. But as he said, no excuses.
Sad but thanks Watto.

I'd like to make the following comments. Watson became our head coach in 2014 long before amazingly taking us to a grand final in 2019 & CC final in 2020. He won't get another 5 years apprenticeship at another club.
It is unusual for players, Coaches and CEO's to be supporters. You can tell the supporters at any club. They put money into the club not take it out. They work unwaged. They are doing the website for free etc.
It's a matter of trust. If fans are allowed in next season and there is some bad news on the horizon eg like getting docked six points this season. Do you think we will find out before we buy our season tickets or after?

That was the correct thing to do.He didn't have to speak to them. What is he implying he was shoved out. That's the way the mopp flops let's get over it.

Marlon Billy is staying as club welfare officer. He seems popular with the players so it’s good news
The club announcing that he’s ‘committed his long term future’ to the club feels a bit odd for this kind of role.
Could be seen as a bit desperate but I’m choosing to see at as the club recognising fans will feel a bit unsettled and are responding to that 😊

Reading his comments i did laugh at him saying everything screams top 4. The youth academy with kids coming through. In his time here he's only had two regular youth players which was lannon and bibby. Wood would appear now and then but thats it. Nothing to shout about. We have a reserve team now to I believe.
What he said last night was nothing but BS really.
