Player welfare must surely be a concern, you can't expect a club with such a small squad to play that many games in such a short space of time.

The RFL and Super League are an utter joke, if a serious injury happens it's on their watch for giving us this crammed schedule.

We are playing a crazy number of games. And We still have a game in hand over half the teams 🤷♂️
Nothing to do with the RFL though. The RFL cancelled every league that they are responsible for months ago. Just started playing some friendlies at junior and senior community club level but no leagues until next season
The SL clubs signed up to this schedule through their SL Board (basically the clubs) when the season restarted. They backloaded the fixtures in the hope they would be able have fans in. Salford supported the approach to fixtures. Wigan, Warrington and Catalans have had unexpected breaks due to covid, like we did after the 1st hull game after restart. Everyone else is playing pretty much the same schedule as us
There is an argument for saying that given the fans aren’t allowed back in that they should move into an expanded play offs early to still fulfil the sky deal but not place the burden on players. I think SL are considering that

Ian Watson should say look give them the points it’s meaningless to us and player welfare comes first. If you look at the players doing the celebration songs after the Saints game you can see they are dead on their feet. Someone is going to get seriously hurt if this carries on.

Cancelled owing to us only having 13 fit players.

It would have been tight to beat them for a 6th time in a row with only 13 players

So they’re awarded a 24-0 victory whilst the castleford game is not awarded against them because they had Covid tests. Should have caught the virus instead of picking up injuries, lads.

What happened when Leeds didn’t play Catalans, without any positive Covid tests? I don’t think anything did?
