What’s the betting he plays in the two games before the final and has two absolute stormers. Talking of which, we are due to play HKR 3 days before the final. Surely that will be postponed or cancelled.

I wouldn't put money on a postponement, it is SL when all's said and done.

SL as in Sky's Lapdogs.

SL as in Sky's Lapdogs. TBH & F chief that's a bit harsh there's so much dependant on that Sky monies for our game.

I reckon the game before the final will be moved to the Tuesday like it was for the semi-final. Leeds played on the Wednesday before the semi final so it might get left on the Wednesday. There’s a lot of games to fit in before the end of the season
Hopefully the disciplinary panel will be sorted in time...

The problem with that is any injuries and/or suspensions will affect the planning for the final. Both teams deserve a full week of preparation. Given the percentage that determines the final placing, surely both Salford’s and Leeds’ games could be cancelled.

Back to Connor Jones. Whilst he doesn’t really look like a SL player I think he’s tried hard in every game he’s played for us. I’m surprised we haven’t given him a bit longer to see if he can make the grade but maybe that’s a sign of how much/little cash we’ve got or that he’d rather be somewhere he’ll get a game every week

Sadly as the moment he's just not big and strong enough at SL level

Tim Sheens did a good job for us recruiting Lui,BMM and Flash apparently. Coached him in Oz.

I believe the Borders in Australia are closed even to Aussies returning from abroad, That'll be a Complete Nightmare for Sheens if he's got to have suffer another UK winter !

They're letting in a certain number each week. Then they have to quarantine in a hotel for two weeks and pay for it themselves
Great guy, listened to him a few times and he has a massive depth of knowledge about RL
Wonder if Sky could get him to replace the Chuckle Brothers. On that topic I thought the BBC commentators were really good. John Kear is in the same class as Sheens, great in depth knowledge.

Depends where you want to get to. One of coaches of the T20 cricket finalists was going home to Oz after the final. He lives in Melbourne but they aren’t allowing international flights so he’s having to fly to Perth and isolate in a hotel for 2 weeks before getting a domestic flight to Melbourne!
As for TV coverage the BBC is miles ahead of sky at the moment. Never thought I’d be saying that in the days of French and Murphy. Dave Woods is brilliant, I think the best TV commentator in the game. Chapman is a great anchor and the pundits are all decent quality - Wilkin, Davies and Kear in particular. Davies used to annoy me but he’s got better in recent years. Noble is ok, Luke Robinson did ok on our game
And the BBC don’t spend half the game showing the coaches sat in the stand. Sky even showed a slow motion replay of Daryl Powell shaking his head about something last week. While the game was in play 🤯🤬. O’Connor doesn’t know what day it is, Wells is a good analyst doing the big screen stuff but is an awful summariser. Phil Clarke can be ok (I know not many will agree with me there though!) but generally just says the first thing that comes into his head. I do rate Brian Carney though. Ben Proe is good. Stuart Pile I like but he needs to sort his teeth out. The rest just talk nonsense most of the time.

Is Stuart Pile on Skys alternative Audio choice. I Listen to Stuart Pyke on the Regular Commentary.!!
