The problem with that is any injuries and/or suspensions will affect the planning for the final. Both teams deserve a full week of preparation. Given the percentage that determines the final placing, surely both Salford’s and Leeds’ games could be cancelled. That would be the sensible thing to do John. So we know what will happen... Back to Connor Jones. Whilst he doesn’t really look like a SL player I think he’s tried hard in every game he’s played for us. I’m surprised we haven’t given him a bit longer to see if he can make the grade but maybe that’s a sign of how much/little cash we’ve got or that he’d rather be somewhere he’ll get a game every week I'd try like a bastard at 46 to play for us but unfortunately I'm not good enough. Evidently Connor isn't either. For every Greg Burke or Gil Dudson there is a Connor Jones. Super player just not quite good enough or big enough. Its the pool in which we fish unfortunately...

Its from. From whence he came. Sorry it was bugging me. Technically, you are correct. However, you don't actually need the preposition. It is equally correct to say, "back whence he came". The modern usage is, "back from where he came." "Whence" is old fashioned at best, overly-formal regardless and almost obsolete at worst. Lesson over. Please feel free to ignore my rambling.

Dear god we've had to put up for years with people on here incable of spelling "Tomkins" (adding the 'p'), Atkin (adding an 's') and the usual issues with "their/there/they're" "as/has" and you boring gits are discussing the merits of the usage of the word "whence".🤣🤣🤣 You defo must've gone to Bridgwater High or Moorside.😉😁 Anyways, must go, the beach is calling... hope you lot back home are enjoying the English autumn.😏

And Koucash.😏 I'm rather more sympathetic for anyone wanting to comment on Seb...😁. As for Jones, hope he goes well back at Fev. He looked completely out of his depth here and we've got plenty of cover at hooker now with Ackers. Hopefully we can get more game time for Connor Aspey and see if we can bring him into the squad on a regular basis over the next 18 months or so. Wonder if there's the possibility of getting him over to Aus and seeing if he can get a stint in one of the feeder leagues over there to help with his development? I know they've still got border restrictions ATM but maybe something to look at in a few months time?
