Expansion really needs to be centrally controlled, as it has been in the NRL in more recent times. I appreciate what SL have tried to do in making expansion clubs work on a standalone basis, but it just leads to short termism and recruitment of clowns with no credibility to run it - which ultimately makes the whole image of the game a mockery. I want to see the game expand, but it has to be initiated centrally with a 5 year or more support programme and funding.

Yes Myler and Tui the dream team that served Leeds so well early 2019 😂
You'd think they are screwed as all the team can just walk, breach of contract.
Though does make their salary cap issues easy to manage.

This must take P&R of the table.
Surely anyone finishing bottom would argue Toronto should be fall through the trapdoor.

I can see this having an impact on the Sky deal. Which is quite worrying. Whether we like it or not, Toronto's inclusion in SL would keep the pot of money reasonably high. Without them, I can see it becoming reduced.

Yes relegated back to Championship and let Leigh Featherstone fight for the scraps to come up or 11 teams SL next year. Total shambles SBW ...Catalan? Well past his sell by date next year except for a few games Im bored with harping on about this but let's expand in the North first. Play 9s comps in France, Canada, USA, wherever and let them grow slowly Everything about Canada is as most of us expected.

SL can't survive with an 11 team league for me.
We'd end up with even more stupid loop fixtures.
How this is handled could have grave consequences for years to come for me.
Must also mean that Ottawa and NY need to lodge certain bonds before they are allowed to kick a ball.

I doubt anybody expected Covid-19 The Visa problems are all down to that, Therefore the Overseas players are up **** Creek, For everyone to take there frustration due to whats happened this year IE: No rugby On one team is a bit Pointless, If the RFL Have decided on no Relegation this Season then there probably be doing the right thing. At the end of the day we all know how bad the RFL are So the Wolfpack will probably be back in the Superleague in 2021 with a points deduction.

KR,it’s not just visa problems. Even if it were that problem could’ve been addressed months ago. There’s stories of players not being paid and a stack of unpaid bills in Toronto. Not ideal, but clubs were offering to loan players to them. Elstone wasn’t enthusiastic from the start, the clubs have been reluctant to give them money, quite rightly,so I don’t think there’s too much sympathy. I’d love Toronto to be a success but this situation is bollocks
