Would it be easier Russ if you just told us what to say Watched a great RU match today; scrums slick. Perhaps we might try it? I believe Scrums in RU In England are Currently featuring only half the Usual amount of players, That's why the Scrums you've watched on TV Look Slicker than Usual That's based on the Four minutes I watched against My will While Sale were playing Leicester last week While waiting for a Cab. (I Was waiting for the taxi not the Tigers or Sharks)

Of course we'll never agree but ending up where we have to lock a thread is a bit silly and unnecessary.

Think the heading for this thread is something to do with Toronto, so there's a clue

Just read re Toronto position 6 voted against inc us 2 for Leeds and Catalan 3 undecided inc Saints and Wigan So they'll probably be back in as Leeds want it I personally think they should be back. The Competition would sit in a stronger place at a time when the TV rights are up for grabs. Saying that, I also understand why individual clubs would vote against it, especially if you look at the clubs that have done so. It's difficult to ask certain clubs to look further down the line when they struggle from day to day. It shows how precarious our sport is, with maybe five or so clubs financially secure and the rest at a moments notice from disappearing for good. I'm sure if all SL clubs were in a decent place that vote would have been different.

Not so sure Carnster The sad thing about this is the usual build up in lights, then the money for whatever reason isn't here, then inevitable negative publicity. We differ in view but I do think we need stability and strengthen the existing base first.

Just read Apparently SL can agree the number of clubs in Superleague but the RFL can decide which clubs So if SL says 11, then no Toronto. If it says 12 then RFL can admit Toronto It says Eddlestone and SL clubs favour nonToronto, whilst Rimmer favours Toronto
Then there's a disagreement about broadcasting rights. Toronto agreed none but now want some. SL clubs can vote to give them none even if they come in and so there business plan probably wouldn't stack up.
Wonder why there's confusion and negative publicity in all this?

Curiouser and curiouser
The GMB Union have done a deal with the prospective New Toronto owners that they will pay the players what they're owed this year. It said Argyle was paying these. So why should GMB do a deal to get new owners to pay? Presume it's just pressure on SL to re-admit them to SL so players get paid
