The way I see it is it’s an opportunity, if the stadium was available we’d be a much more attractive proposition for anyone with money to invest. It’s what stopped us progressing under Marwan (amongst other things). As it stands I agree no chance of us getting the stadium, but if it were to become available I’d hope it gives us a chance. More or less my thoughts exactly and you only have to look at the wolves to see what a difference your home makes.

Wonder why Fred Done gave £6M to Gorton? No idea but he’s never shown much interest in us unfortunately has he? Apart from that po faced video he did before the Grand Final of course. Ever thought what he would be interested in giving money to?

Council and Peel are not going to sell the Stadium unless they can recoup the majority of money they have invested in the build. Given the current situation regards to property and market value no one in their right mind would be willing to pay that amount of money for the stadium.

It was reported when Sale moved in (sorry for links to the Daily SS Mail) that they'd signed a 25 year lease c. 2012. It would seem very odd for them to have signed a 25 year lease with no break clause. One around 10 years perhaps? So far as I can see they've basically thrown up a website and nothing else. No architect drawings, discussion about funding or anything resembling a serious attempt to develop a new stadium. I'd be astonished if this wasn't some sort of negotiating tactic.

Judging by the council's response, that went well.
I'm hoping they'll be gone soon ........

Well thats a Real Surprise & and a Shock You'd think they were lots of NIMBYS In Trafford 😏 In four years living 5 minutes away from Sale FC Stadium It took a Couple of households nearly three years to be given permission to build a Conservatory !! Avoid Arcadia Avenue if you want to buy a House that needs refurbishment,
