I'm sure Escare is only the Third French player to play for SRD David Berthèzene
Theo Fages and A young player in the 1990s who played in the Reserve team ,
Could it have been Slyvian Houles ? Head coach of Toulouse?

His family came over And They sat next to us in the Willows Club they mentioned he was born in Carcassonne. I'm certain I also remember that he started off at the same junior team as Theo Fages.

That rings a bell him knowing Theo. There's a name I'd look at if Brown goes, I think if you gave him the responsibility would be a great leader on the park. |

There's no French players from the 1990s on the player Heritage list ,I believe he came over on a Work experience type scheme .Never ayed in a first team game unless it was a friendly.

His Christian name was Gilles who was a winger, I also remember him in the A team it wasn’t Sylvain Houles we also had another French lad who came after Theo, Alan or Shirley Bradshaw will know his name, he played for Toulouse later on if I am correct, he was also a half back |

He went to Toulouse Olympic for a spell later on. |

Under the headline Escare can't be to be a Red Devil
"Morgan Escaré is desperate to pull on a Salford jersey, although he admits it might not be until next year.
The Red Devils unveiled their new signing last week, confirming that Escaré had signed a three-year deal with the club.
He was a free agent after leaving Wigan but despite that, Escaré confirmed that the deal starts from next season and not with immediate effect.
For now, he will join the club for four weeks of training, at which point the club will make a decision on the rest of this year.
“I start training next Monday for four weeks and after I am meeting and maybe they say to me to come and finish the season,” he said.
“I want to play this season, but for now I’m training every day and training hard. But if the coach says to me he wants me to play now, then definitely. I want to finish the season playing for the team, but we will see if that happens.”
This does sound like a bit of Evalds business could certainly be on the way to me.
