Find it extremely odd that there is not item 1 about this doing the rounds, you'd expect someone to have leaked something 24+hrs later.

Just a guess but League Express is struggling to fill their weekly edition to might be holding something back until Sunday? I’ve just seen the Chicken Wing rumour report on Patreon has mentioned Cas accelerating their recruitment plans - it’s behind a paywall so no idea if that is referring to Evalds. That’s all I’ve got for you as can’t find the French article mentioned above! |

A reliable rugby journo on Twitter has said no deal has been agreed with Escare as of yet but we're interested. Some whispers of us having a look at Sam Tomkins as well. Probably made an initial approach to plenty of player have to see which one materialises.

But a some one on the Cas forum today said he spoke to Jon Wells this morning and asked when we were going to announce the Evalds signing. His reply was that whilst they don't like keeping fans in the dark they never announce signings until "the deal is done", so who knows. |
