For me if you're stupid enough to use social media you deserve everything you get, a vile invention that has not advanced society 1 iota.

There are two sides to every story. He has made it clear that the final decision is his. I just say thanks for what you have done in your time with the club and good luck in the future.

MR it’s inevitable and we all know this really because rugby league will probably never have the number in the Salford/Manchester area to self sustain a top team. We need to enjoy it while it lasts unless we get a big money man or rugby league suddenly becomes the next big thing. I’m enjoying us punching above our weight at the moment though. Morley and Betts weren't bad players and lots of others in Watson and Blease. I think the way forward for the Club is to develop its own local and regional talent, work with the schools, the City, sports clubs and others to make RL a prime sport in the area. Sadly Niall is the last of the Academy brigade I think. It seems we're not going to buy our way out so create our way through. And I can't see why Salford as a RL city won't work if the right plans are put in place with everybody working together. Thd Club has been waiting for a 'big money man' for a while. We were v lucky Marwan pulled us out and if we're just wishing for Father Christmas it seems we're in for a long wait.

Yes,I think history judges Koukash far more kindly that we did at the time,me included. He undoubtedly saved the club as a Superleague team. He spent big,not always wisely but that goes with the gig. He realised he couldn’t achieve what he wanted and then gift wrapped the club back to a supporters trust, free of any debt to him. Just typing this makes his actions more impressive.
But,he could be a nob on occasions

I don’t disagree and we’re got three young prospects in the reserves that have come from the Foundation Academy. Youth development will help but it won’t be the silver bullet though - just ask Bradford and Widnes.

I still maintain we should have gone down the route of a regional/city academy, Salford, Swinton, Oldham & Rochdale, at the very minimum Salford & Swinton. A prime example is the winger/FB who left Swinton for Warrington last season, if we'd have been in the same set up with Swinton we'd have been in the driving seat to take him onboard.

Matty Ashton was part of our youth setup a few years ago IIRC then went back to Rochdale Mayfield before heading out to Australia and then to Swinton.

If we're hanging on for that we might as well give up now; but it's got to be part of the Plan , if there is one As a SL club we get more Sky money I think than Widnes Bradford and there's the odd success in Saints Wigan Leeds. But it needs to be developed with the Council and surrounding councils thro the schools. Even Toronto have now got Rochdale area and young lads from there.

I'm not sure about the invlovement of Harris seems to me a ban could be an answer to what took place. What do people think?

I thought Harris was guilty of nothing more than being a totally inept coach.
