Originally destined for Friday May 1st, the game is now to be played Sunday May 3rd : "After the postponement of our @superleague game v @giantsrl earlier this month, we can now confirm we will travel to John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday 28th April at 7.45pm, our following home game v @salforddevils has been moved back to Sunday 3rd May, kick off 3pm as a consequence>" (Leeds tweet) The revised date is on the Salford site but I thought I'd make sure all on here know.

Just watching Rob Lui, absolutely brilliant. Wow. Pity we never had Lui Hastings Ben MM Jones Ratchford Griffin etc etc all playing together at once
Sadly we'll always have to live off Watson making and zBlease having to sell players

Mentioned in commentary that Toronto cannot register Chase Stanley due to salary cap restrictions. Aaron Bower also mentioned this on twitter. Am surprised no team has looked to take him on loan as he is a an nrl quality centre.

Sadly I think the whole thing with Toronto is a circus, wanting more salary cap, can't play home games until nearly mid season,no home grown players and now Ottawa, New York, Valencia Red Star Belgrade lining up. To me it's a total joke.

Does seem that the good ship Toronto is quickly becoming a modern version of the Titanic.
SBW might well be a household name but he's not what Toronto need, they would have been much better getting in 3 Marquee players for his salary.
Would be mightily worried if they finish bottom as can only see divisions in the RFL with some wanting them to go down and a very good few wanting them to stay up.

If the trend carries on we could see a Superleague of
Saints Wigan Hull Warrington Leeds Toronto Ottawa Catalan Toulouse Belgrade New York Barcelona
I know it’s only a joke at the moment but I am sure that is what the RFL want eventually, once this happens then we will cease to exist, mind you I think we would have gone long before with a good few others.
😢😢😢😭😭

SBW isn’t the real issue as he takes up a marquee slot. I read yesterday that Liam Kay is on more that Tom Johnstone. That’s the issue- paying top dollar to mediocre players. So if they’d have not signed SBW and left Lussick in the marquee spot they’d probably only have bought a couple more Liam Kays.

Toronto are experiencing what we did when MK first took over. A limited player pool where you have to pay over the odds for average players. Even without SBW their predicament wouldn't be much different.

No my point being with the ludicrous money SBW is on they could have brought in 3 very good Marquee players who would have been much more beneficial.
I personally don't care though, hate to see any team struggle but the moment they announced McDer**** as head coach all that changed.

I personally don't care though, hate to see any team struggle but the moment they announced McDer**** as head coach all that changed. Only £150k of SBW’s wage counts on the cap as a marquee player. They only have one other slot and that is filled by Leutele who is reportedly on £400k. They could have tried to sign someone like Mitchell of course but went for the bigger name rather than the talent. They have the money but don’t have the cap space for multiple big name signings. They can’t even fit one of their current players under the cap. Mismanagement on a massive scale but Nobby still had the gaul to show his face on Sky last night.

For interest the Cumberland League has two divisions of about 8 teams and 3 semi pro teams, yet do not seem to be supported for a SL team. But I suppose Valencia, Belgrade, Ottawa are better destinations than the Lake Distruct.
