Might be childish of me but I do hope of the teams close to the drop that they are the team that slips down the rabbit hole, just something about the attitude of the fans that has never sat right.
Going to be 1 hell of a slog and as I've said on a different thread I hope we don't get dragged into anything stupid that results in players missing the 1st play off game, pretty sure there will be a lot of niggle.
Also massively worried what will happen post game if they do drop, as long as it's not our fans doing anything stupid that results in sanctions from the RFL.
Wonder how they are going to police the water carriers during the game, more than ever they are going to be a huge factor bringing news of the other games. Also does anyone know if there will be anything in place to ensure all games KO the 2nd half at the same time? surely delaying coming out for 2 or 3 minutes give the teams battling the drop an unfair advantage.
Going to be nerve racking and rather boozy me thinks.

I think we will win by a couple of scores, but it won't be easy. KR will be fighting for their SL lives. My concern is that our winning streak comes to an end next week and we crash out of the play offs. Can we beat KR by enough points to ensure we finish 3rd?

If both ourselves and Warrington win we would need to win by more than 13 points, I'd guess if we ended up level on points difference we'd get 3rd spot by virtue of beating them 3 times in the regular season.
Finish 3rd and we'd play Wigan away, finish 4th and it's a sudden death home tie against Cas or Hull. I'd take us to beat either of them at home so maybe 4th is best.

I thought the same but then wondered that,if we finish 3rd and lose to Wigan, don’t we still have Cas ,Hull or Wire at home. Is that right? On balance, beat HKR but finish 4th might be best .

Yeah it would then be straight knock again 1 of them, I honestly do think Saints will choke, not got a clue why but think they won't reach the final.

Can we win this? Yes. But will we win it? Who knows, Hull KR are fighting for their lives whereas the pressure is off us somewhat. It's a nice position to be in though. They've already beat us twice this season so we need to be careful. Could do with a good performance to keep momentum going into the playoffs.
Really looking forward to it though, hoping for a decent crowd. It'll be interesting keeping an eye on all the other scores.

This crossed my mind too. IF KR end up being relegated I really hope it doesn't kick off outside the ground afterwards. No doubt they will be angry if this happens, and we have our fair share of idiots who will probably be goading them. I think it is a sensible move to put the KR fans in the North Stand for this very reason.

What happens if Cas beat Wigan on Thursday? I’ve not looked at the points difference to be honest. If Leeds defend like they did last week they can take Wire. So is second within reach? Would be ridiculous for us to finish second!

2nd is definitely in reach.
We have a better PD than Wigan so if they and Warrington lose and we win the we get 2nd
or
if Wigan lose, Warrington win and we beat KR by 14 more than Warrington beat Leeds by then we get second
Both unlikely but not impossible. It worries me how we’re being tipped for a big win by so many people (not on here but even Schoey went large). So if we do ‘a Salford’ and lose then, realistically, the worst that should happen is we finish 4th. Our PD is 79 better than Cas and 292 better than Hull so would need to be blow out scores for us to miss out on 4th

If you look at the structure it doesn't work.
Finish 2nd and get a home tie, win and you get an away tie, lose and you play at home.
So not really an incentive to win if you finish 2nd, for a team like us the pennies the home game would bring would dwarf what you would get from playing away, oh and there's the money from Sky to take into account.

Winner of the 2nd v 3rd game gets a direct route to the final in the next game though. The loser has to win two games to get there with the second game away.

Two trains leave different cities heading toward each other at different speeds. When and where do they meet?

Sorry MR - they did a diagram and I can understand anything as long as it’s in diagram form!

Probably A= C/(1+x/y) where X is speed of train that's travelled distance A y is speed of train that has travelled distance C - A C is distance between two trains at the start
