Some points from last night.
We played as bad as we have in the last 2 months and still managed to get over the line, all bodes well for play off rugby.
I was more than a little worried about our kicking game, simple repetition of a bomb wasn't working and we seemed reluctant to change, the couple of low kicks and chip over the top seemed to work and really couldn't see why things weren't changed.
Welham is getting better each game, gone from being a turnstile to a solid dependable defender.
Junior = Legend.
How good to see Murray come and give the fans a wave too, classy that.
Would have liked to see McGuire do a lap too as all things being equal he is 1 of the best players of his generation.
We looked like we missed an on field leader, with Dudson and Flash both missing we looked a little rudderless.
Last night is a memory for the new place, an atmosphere like no other night at Barton, if you could replicate that at every home game numbers would rocket, actually heard a couple of kids when we were leaving asking the guy they were with if they could come again.

No chance - everyone at the club wants to win this game and finish as high as possible. I noticed in the last 20-25 mins of the game we didn't seem to want to Bring on any Interchanges , A couple of times Watson told his assistant to not to warm up Burke and Mossop I think. I'm Certain we didn't use the full 8 interchanges?? |

No chance - everyone at the club wants to win this game and finish as high as possible. I noticed in the last 20-25 mins of the game we didn't seem to want to Bring on any Interchanges , A couple of times Watson told his assistant to not to warm up Burke and Mossop I think. I'm Certain we didn't use the full 8 interchanges?? They both came on didn’t they? I think he timed it right because Mossop’s introduction in particular really upped the intensity in the last ten minutes. Watson might have preferred to rest some of the pack but no way he didn’t want third- we now have a second chance if we slip up. |

Mossop was outstanding last night, he has been for the last quarter of the season. Great prop. |

Parcel has been banned for three games for his crusher tackle on Mossop in extra time. I’ll be honest I thought it was accidental! Either I missed something or thats very harsh.

Glad Parcell Copped a Ban He's previously Stamped on players in the past and he really should be Parcelforced into changing his behaviour, He sounds a complete Postman Prat
