Talking of refs, what has happened to James Child? Hasn't reffed any SL games for a while now. Has he been demoted?

Talking of refs the 1st female ref took charge of an NRL game earlier.

I’m not a fan of criticising referees, and in no way do I think he’s biased or anything similar, but I just don’t think Child should be a Super League ref. He seems unable to let games flow - his constant calling of penalties/infringements when most referees would have let it go spoils games for me.

Kendall is a poor ref, watching the wire highlights there were clear mistakes from both sides that he gave. Second half especially when lussick clearly had the ball stripped from his hands and he gave a knock on. There are alot of rules to follow in rugby,if we had two refs like the NRL then i think the game will flow better with less penaltys

As regards Kendall,I watched the whole match highlights too. He was ok,I thought, but changed the course of the game when he gave a forward pass early on as Charnley went over. Not even close to being forward so I think we had the rub of the green with him. Maybe the linesman called it. Childs is a hopeless ref. He was promoted to the big games far too soon. I think he’s over confident and he just doesn’t allow the game to flow. We all know that a ref can find something to penalise anytime he wants. Childs abuses that privilege. Also too fond of giving smart arse reverse penalties against the team in possession. Apart from that,he’s sound.

It must be me then John I do think he is biased and I don't think he is the only one and I would think a few of our lads would agree. I know they have a difficult job but I see it this way their is decisions that are stright forward it the fifty fifty decisions teams like Salford and London and Wakefield's don't get against the Saints and Wigan's and Leeds of this world you saw it at the Saints game earlier this season I think if you saw Watto in a pub and asked him about that incident he would say the same thing we were robbed If that incident had happened at the other end to Saints they get it.

Feeling fairly positive about this one. If we play the same team which beat Wire then we have every chance to push on and win this game. I don't want to slate the guy too much but Olpherts hopefully doesn't make the 17. We should stick with the same team that thrashed Warrington.
NB: every time I've fancied us to win this season I've been horribly wrong 😂

Sau played at Warrington so that will be one change. Looking at the squad the question will be either Inu back into the centres with Olpherts on the wing, or possibly leave Inu on the wing and play Jones at centre?
Catalan should be fired up for this one after losing 46-0 to us at home. They'll either smash us early with a fast start or be too fired up and (hopefully) get an early red card.

Not confident about this one - our home form is still terrible. Even in the wins against Wakey and Cas we were not great. I expect Olpherts will return on the wing with Inu back at centre.
