Surprisingly good - did far more minutes than anyone expected him to. Made some decent runs. Surprisingly? I for 1 think PP is a great option and I'm willing to bet if he stays as long as Junior did he will have won a huge cult following and be firm fans favourite.

I meant surprisingly as he played less than 20 minutes total in his last two Wakey games so don’t think any of us expected the shift he put in.

It sums it up with the amount of praise given by saints fans for Salford on their fans forum and social media. Virtually all admitting the best side lost. In fairness it's quite easy to be magnanimous in victory. Why was their 4th try given after going to video ref? Surely the bloke knocks it on into the try scorers hands?? Nobody has even mentioned that one!!

i cannot remember on whom it was, but there was definately a blatant headshot on one of our team, but the saints player got away with it when he should have been sent off or at least sin binned or am i imagining it.

No you're not imagining it. It was Zeb Tair on Joey Lussick. Blatant smash across the forehead. Childs had the option to get involved and chose not to which was shocking.

I don't think Joey Lussick imagined it!😠 He must have joined in with the crowd hysteria on a more personal level, that's all!

As a Saints fan with a soft spot for Salford going back to the mid-seventies I thought you where first class on and off the field. I just hope you can get some fans back on board and attract some new ones.

Saints were my second team for a long time - I used to really like the way they played back in the 80s and 90s and they never won much so that felt comfortable and familiar as a Salford fan! Then saints got really good and it all went wrong 😊. I’d still saints rather win things than Wigan Warrington or Leeds but i don’t think they play with the same style as they used to

But unfortunately, decisions like that one on Friday that go against us, turning victory into defeat, don’t help. We would have been 3rd in the table with the well deserved win. Instead, we are in the bottom half of the table. Unlikely to attract stay away supporters when we are a mid to lower table team.

When is Mr Childs going to be called out, it is beyond being a bad match official, this guy as form against Salford, the decision was not even controversial he clearly knocked on. Does anyone believe the other way round it would have remotely been given. I know guys who have recently stop going because they believe the odds are stacked against us, I am beginning to think these guys are right.
I hope the club have asked for an explanation!
Well done Salford great performance, made me proud to be a Salford supporter, you deserved more 1 to 17?

Well done Salford great performance, made me proud to be a Salford supporter, you deserved more 1 to 17? I actually think he made the right call - well his hands were tied by the call on the field that it was a try anyway. The Saints player went to ground with both hands on the ball. The last thing the video ref can see is the right hand on the ball. You can’t see on the video if his right hand (not the left which everyone is focusing on) ever comes off the ball. As the video ref can’t see the right hand he has no evidence to overturn the on the field decision. It’s harsh but nowt he could do.
