Still no Junior Sau in the squad Salford Red Devils (@salforddevils) Tweeted: 📋 Head Coach Ian Watson has named his 19-man squad ahead of Friday's meeting with @leedsrhinos at the @ajbell_Stadium (kick-off 7:45 pm). 🤔 Thoughts? 💪 #TogetherStronger t.co/fmwWZv79T2

Could have 3 big props for the first time this season. Pack looks very good.
The only disappointment is no Sa’u or Sio who I assume are still injured. I’d have liked to have seen Welham replaced in the centres but he’s got another chance this week so lets see how he goes.

A win would be great of course, and could see us break into the top 5 depending on other results. We should be fired up and looking to right the wrongs from last time we played them.
Our home record has been poor though this season, and our record against Leeds even more so. It really depends on which Salford (and which Leeds) team turns up. I'm glad Dudson is back. Hopefully we get off to a good start and build a nice comfortable half time lead a la Warrington and we should be fine.....

Great result.
Must admit, I felt before we were more than capable of winning this both physically and tactically, but thought our mental hoodoo against the big teams might let us down. We'll we've managed to put that to bed and let's hope we can carry it on.
Well done lads..

How the fook do I end up walking out after beating Leeds feeling deflated?
Inu should have his leg chopped off for kicking out on the full AGAIN, for him to be the player who fell over letting them score in the next set just added insult to injury.
Many Positives though, for me that was the first game JH & RL have really both shone, having Moose/Duds/Walker all fit gives us so much steel down the middle. Murray & Burke just look hungry and the very kind of forwards that a team is built around.
I'm however glad that was an abject Leeds team as after Olpherts spewed that bomb (pretty classy spiralling effort to be fair) they didn't kick to him more as any other decent team would have.
I'm sorry but in the final 5 minutes our fans were dire, why oh why chant nothing but insults towards Leeds and Myler when geeing your own team up would have been so much more beneficial.

Oh and was that a case of a leveller from the ref?
The 1st Leeds effort as long as I've got a hole in my 'arris' wasn't a try and then Lussick obviously promoted the ball in a double movement.
Can't think of a game where so many front tower forwards scored tries either.

Inu putting the ball out on the full was a low point but I think it was Bibby that slipped. Olpherts is a conundrum. Played exceptionally well but made his usual mistake. Tremendous towering kick and I didn’t think it should’ve been his ball. He will make mistakes and it’s lunacy to think you can keep playing him and expect a different outcome. The Font rightly said that games are too tight to ignore repetitive mistakes, same goes for Inu but that’s easily cured. Someone else to kick off ! Overall, a really strong display. Our halves were unplayable. If Leeds had had our halves, they’d have won

Inu has been brilliant since he came in. Totally agree but his kick offs have put us in trouble in the last 2 home games. Easily fixed. His goal kicking has been exemplary

But I honestly think he cost us the last Wigan game and he handed Leeds the momentum when we were all over them today. A few simple errors could have potentially put in the relegation battle. As said elsewhere just let someone kick off or at the very least tell him under no circumstances does he kick for the in goal.

But I heard the Comedy line to end all others tonight.
Stood at the main South Stand bar just before KO and a young lad came up to the guy stood in front and in a very broad Southern accent said 'Dad, it's a league game and his Dad said I wondered why so many people were wearing red'
Quality, total quality.
