Good result. Nice big buffer to the bottom and a full week to rest up.

A game of two halves as they say - first was textbook and second was sloppy to say the least. I think Watson did the best he could with the cards he was dealt though - he had to hit them hard and then hang on with the pack we had and injuries we picked up. I’m not sure we’d have got away with it against better opposition but you can only beat whats in front on you.
Hastings, Murray, Griffin and Lussick were excellent all game. Mossop looked good considering it was his first game back. The pack made a lot of yards in the first half - less so in the second. Defence was superb in the first half but looked tired in the second especially down the right.
The only player that really disappointed me was Welham. Time and time again space was created for him and each time he did absolutely nothing with it. Sa’u would have run the gaps or Bibby would have made space for Olpherts - Welham did neither.
On another note - it is blatantly obvious that Hastings loves playing rugby and loves it it here. We might be short on cash but if we keep turning up and supporting the team the way we have there is always the chance of one more year.

Watson confirms that Turgut has been suspended for a breach of off-field club rules. No further information provided and Twitter seems none the wiser.

I’ve just had a look at the table. It’s ridiculous how compressed it is. Anything from 3rd downwards is possible for us. The final few rounds could see lots of teams with something to play for.

A great result for us... thought we struggled somewhat when Joey was off the field... we were a bit ragged without his direction

Good professional win. With no disrespect intended having London as the game after Easter is a bit of a bonus. We did what was needed. The commentary were saying the wind was an advantage for us in the first half and London in the second. 3rd game in 9 days, running into the wind, low on forwards, 20 points up - it’s no wonder we lost some intensity in the 2nd half. From what I saw of Wigan v Cas, in poor conditions, both teams looked shot after the Easter fixture

Good win in horrendous conditions. Not only was it blowing a gale it was also freezing. Hopefully no injuries.

Agree with London Red re Welham. As he is packing up at the end of the season we should be playing Bibby @ 4 as soon as 1 of our injured wingers - Johnson/Sio/Chamberlain regains fitness

Good Performance all round, With maybe a slight minus with Regards Darrell Olpherts, Two Clear try chances. The First missed chance the ball nearly hit me and knocked me cup of tea from me, Thankfully it didn't decide the result. Weather absolutely bloody Ridiculous.

Not his biggest fan but think he's got 1 or 2 seasons left in him at least (even if championship level) .

Newspaper report of racist chanting/abuse aimed at Olpherts Not sure if it’s Salford or London fans alleged to have done it Usually reliable tweeters saying it was Salford fans. If it was they should be banned for life. Disgusting stuff to racially abuse anyone and to aim it at your own player is beyond mindless

During the first half I was sat in the seats in the Main stand /seating Olpherts was on the opposite wing I didn't hear much chanting mainly due to the distance from where he was plus the wind. Second half I sat in the new seated stand behind the posts we were attacking along with the majority of the Salford supporters, I'm assuming it may have happened in that half As per usual it seems it's not a good away trip if you don't drink pint after pint For certain sections of Red Devils support It was also where the the nearest Bar on the same side as where Olpherts was playing. Really hope it wasn't own teams supporters.

I would urge anyone adding fuel to this story to show restraint. With the “news” of losing players and financial difficulties we shouldn’t be kicking ourselves when we are down.
