Same squad for us
Wigan: Davies injured on Friday. Doubt over Leuluai. Shorrocks in Squad after being laid out with head injury and carried off: how can he play? More youngsters in their squad.
Their left edge scored another great try against Saints, Gildart was their m o m.

Couldn't see us swapping anyone after that performance, think we have to try and bully Wigan (how odd does it sound to say that) and pummel (legally) Gildart early and hard.

Even after Friday I’m still not confident!! That left edge of Wigan’s is still very dangerous and no injuries there. We showed last time we played them that we can match them but we need to focus and any defensive errors will be punished.
If both teams are pretty much unchanged then it might come down to fitness and who has the most energy going into the last 20. It’s aborher game where a half time lead could be crucial as chasing the game won’t be easy

Honestly, with their injury list and general poor form, we should beat them. That's not to say we will, but if we don't it will be a mental problem not skill or fitness. They are there for the taking. All too often we fluff it with poor decisions and get overawed by the thought of beating a big club. This is a big game in my opinion. Show that we mean business by winning. Also, I could only afford tickets for one game this Easter, and I've chosen this one so I missed the Warrington match! They'd better win

We have to go in to Monday's game as favourites, irrespective of Wigan's history and heritage.
They are struggling for depth and just got a good hiding off Saints. We just beat one of the best teams in the league away from home.
I rarely feel hopeful playing Wigan but we can't have a better opportunity than we do right now.

I’m always worried about Joe Burgess. He always scores a hatful against us.

Basically if we can keep their left edge quiet, we win the game. Hope we can do it and send out a message. Come on reds

We haven’t done it often. And to get them against Warrington and Wigan will send a big message to the rest of the league and our latent supporters

Bandgeekmafia - it’s not their heritage I am worried about. It’s their team. If we go in thinking we deserve to win then we will lose. Like last time. Even with all their injuries they still have more current and ex-internationals than we do. That said they will have a few players with very little experience and some very young but we know better than to think wigan are easy beats

We need to keep to a Simple Game plan. Score more Points than Wigan on Monday afternoon. I'm not a big Betting person but I'm Certain it's the best way.

Come on reds Shouldn't be rocket science then, make sure you kick to their right edge unless you target the LHS early on and hammer them each time they get the ball, think you also have to watch old coke chops too as he's back to his best.

I hate to be all doom and gloom but I think it will be a repeat of last time - defeat with us making Williams look like a world beater again. On paper we should be favourites with Wigan being too soft down the middle but in reality our home form is atrocious- the worst in the league.
I’ll be glad to be proven wrong as I enjoy our wins over Wigan more than any others.

Wigan having a few injuries is not necessarily a bad thing for them, as it will at least freshen up their squad after the good Friday game. Salford will probably run with almost the same 17, many of which are unlikely to be at 100% after playing just 3 days earlier.

Focus on the basics and we should get some joy through their “middles” but we need to stop Greenwood gallivanting down our right edge....
