Getting nervous/excited about tomorrow now. My lads team has got a game in Wrexham in the morning so it’s gonna be a trek but not going to miss it after last week
Will be interesting to see how our left side goes in attack. We won’t be given the space that cats gave us. It will be a real test of our consistency

Hopefully Watto has pre-empted that and has a trick up his sleeve. Setting off in a couple of hours, can't wait! |

Full of mistakes so far, sound like a shadow of the team from last week. Strangely enough we get a few minutes of stability and then give a shocking try away. Long afternoon unless we start to cut out the errors.

If it wasn't for a horrible error by Welham and Evalds on our own tryline, we'd have won that.
Too many individual errors but we gave it a good shot and could have come home with the points.

Just watched the highlights and Welham at fault for two tries. The one with Evalds though was a thing of beauty and made me cry laughing

Where was Evalds for the first try as well? With no trains between Leeds and Cas it was too much of a trek for me unfortunately. Did Bibby go well again? Any stand out performances? |

Shame but Welham had a mare today at fault for 2 tries and didn’t really look the part with an open run and was easily caught. This was a rare chance to win at Cas and we missed the boat. Great effort by the team who last week and this have looked the part. Gil Dodson George Griffin Joey Lussick Dan Murray all had strong games. Walker looked the part and with time should be a good acquisition. Jack o really is a top drawer player and we should enjoy him whilst he is here. Rob Lui was quiet but must always play.
Mixed emotions really smashing performance,but an opportunity has been missed.

Sooo frustrating.
The cock up in front of the posts was the difference. More Evalds fault for the dodgy pass. Welham has to stop dead which made him slip. Evalds also out of position for the first try
But even with that we would have won if we’d been smarter. When they were down to 12 we should have tired them out more than we did. One kick rolled dead for a 7 tackle set for them. The we get a 7 tackle set, kick early and straight into the defender and they start again on their own 30. Nakubuwai knocked on first tackle after we scored. Kicking game not good enough all game
But absolutely can’t fault the effort and to dominate big parts of the game at cas and score 4 tries is more than most teams will manage there. Cas were good in defence and managed the game well, forcing lots of drop outs and taking their chances better than us. If they had Gale and Ellis available they would be some team. Can’t imagine us being able to play at that level without Hastings and Lui.
So lots of positives but also frustrating
