So come on.... how many of you Sky+'d the match and have already watched it back again?š Feels bloody good to be a Salford fan today and we all know these days are few and far between so we need to savour it. A lot of us would have been at that crazy 40-40 game a couple of seasons ago where we were 20-0 up after 20 or so mins so we could be excused for not quite sitting comfortably at half-time. The try straight after the restart (and what a try it was!) killed the game and if we'd been even more clinical we'd have racked up 60! Defensive effort was amazing and summed up by the kick and chase with about 10 minutes left where 5 Salford players got to Tomkins before he had enough time to think.š
Just pray to God we can put in a decent performance against Cas and the turn the Pies over in a fortnight.
Anyone know the best site for getting historic SL stats from? Wanted to check out our respective records against all the other SL teams.

Having a relaxing afternoon in Perpignan after witnessing last night a masterclass of how to play rugby league. Simply the best performance by a Salford team in modern memory. If we dont add 1000 more bums on seats for the Wigan game after that then i give up Allez Les Diables Rouges Thanks for rubbing it in.... none of us stick here in blighty are remotely jealous!š |

Just petrified the flatmate will delete the recording as he does quite frequently! What's the chances of getting a DVD of the game? I guess there may be copyright issues? I'm sure there'd be a lot of us who'd fork out to get a DVD of the game with interviews, post-match celebrations etc and the club could do with any extra cash. |

If it had been the other way round would you have thought our right hand defence was good enough? I wouldnāt and I would have said we werenāt good enough. A mate of mine who is a Salford fan is married to a girl from St Helens and she is related to Mat Whitley, all through the game was texting him about how poor he was in defence 
Will be interesting to see if Bibby keeps his place if Junior is fit, same with Chamberlain and Olpherts.
I felt a bit sorry (not very) for Whitley. He was out of position and had a āmare. But how many times have we been in positions like that and not taken advantage or been on the other end of a team finding our weak spot and exploiting it to the max. Good to see us do it for once |

Yes they were woeful because SRD outplayed them and they had no answer but there is a difference between that simple and obvious explanation and I'd like to see the same as when Saints outplayed us happen in the column inches. Yes I konw it's a lot to ask!
But somehow the highlights have appeared again like magic.

I assume it was because the push happened before the try was scored. If the penalty is called then the play is dead so the try wouldnāt count. |

Agree that if Bibby hadnāt followed up it would have been a penalty try and easy kick in front of the posts. Canāt say it affected the result though! |
