Olpherts was pants and I have concerns about. If people think that was his best game then I’m glad I missed the others. Overall iam made up and thought Dudson was mom for me Apart from one balls up where he let the ball bounce, he didn’t put a foot wrong. He was by far our best player today at doing the ‘dirty work’ of getting us on the front foot and out of our own half. Beating the first defender and making half breaks. Why was he pants??? I think we will have to agree to disagree. Defensively h looked lost. I don’t expect him to start next week. I think Bibby will be back in

I wasn’t being funny I was just genuinely curious, to be honest I’m basing my thoughts on his attacking efforts. Didn’t notice any defensive issues but I have in the past so it wouldn’t surprise me!

Worrying that the general lack of attacking prowess is getting much mention, we are meant (I think they are up there) best halves duo in a generation yet we looked pretty dire and honestly our kicking game was inept at best.
Is there a new theory that a lower bomb is better as the height on some was incredibly low (and you'd think a strange tactic with the prevailing wind at the enormadome) and to me is is quite obvious that getting a short kick into the in-goal is a no brainer, collect and fall over for a try or get a drop out VERSUS collect 5 yards out and still have to wiggle over or throw a speculator and risk an intercept.

No way that fly-swatter managed to knock him down!
Hopefully the panel laugh it off and suspend the London player for simulation.

I’m not sure I entirely understand the kicking criticism. Lui had a couple of shockers and a couple of short kicks didn’t go as planned. But London were consistently pinned back, had a couple of drop outs and dropped one bomb. And the team chased down the long kicks well. I mean, I’ve seen better but apart from a couple of bad ones I’m not sure it was really all that bad? Yes agree that the attack was disjointed but it was a good defensive performance and we ground out a result when not at our best. That’ll do for me.

Our attack was disjointed today. We should have had another 3 tries I reckon. But 24-0 is a score I would have taken before kick off (although I went for 22 I’m the prediction league!). Our defence was incredible
Watson said in his press conference that a few players had flu during the week, they cancelled a training session because so many were ill and Lui nearly didn’t play as he was laid up yesterday. So that probably explains why it wasn’t his best day at the office
To have an off day in attack but defend that well and win by 24 isn’t a bad place to be

Oh and I chatted to Moose briefly after the game. He was clearly disappointed with himself and is worried he’s got a ban coming Can’t see it being more than 2 matches though for that having no seen it. I managed to miss it completely when I was watching the game!

The mood of the game was summed up on the fist set of 6 on their line where there wasn't to much creativity. Atmosphere was flat all the way through but its two points so il take that any day. Really impressed with our defending. Next week should be a cracker with top vs bottom. We owe leeds one after the 8's last season.

A win is a win regardless.

Apparently the team did little training last week because of a virus in camp Lui spent yesterday in bed. But he played and did his bit. So perhaps a great performance from everybody. Agree I thought Burke Dudson has been but full of beans.

I accept we wasn't our fluent usual self today nor last week, but its only week 2 r kyd!! I still think most teams are getting up to speed especially with new personnel to blend in
