Thought I'd help out as KreuzbergRed was too lazy to start a thread and just tagged it onto the prop thread....😉 www.salfordreddevils.net/willows-wall-second-row-voting-underway/"Ooh Paul Forber" for me seeing as I've only seen 4 of those players play in my relatively youthful 41 years!! "Flymo" comes a close 2nd but I can't help but think there must be a few players missed off the list that have played during the SL era. Any thoughts? |

I’m assuming Colin Dixon will be on the next list with Richard Webster. On this list,Buffer for me Cracking player was Webbo and I believe that Dixon challenge was alright as well (or so all the old codgers tell me!😉😁) |

What about BMM. He'd be in my team every day of the week. Didn't realise BMM had played as many as 60 games for us as he missed a few through injuries. Initially I thought he probably didn't play for long enough to merit a spot but having thought about it he's the most destructive 2R I've seen in a Salford shirt and would be a club legend if we hadn't had to offload him. 4 or 5 years of BMM would.give him Junior like cult status. |

He played just under a season for us I can still remember the noise when he tackled somebody full on Like someone running to a Fence made of leather . If that's a sound you've ever heard . Just confused myself thinking about it |

In the second vote I've gone for Cartwright, I appreciate he didn't play a huge number of games (and indeed bust an arm) but he was class, a class above anyone else at the club in that period.
Best ball playing 2nd row I've seen at the club.
The dreamer in me would kill to see his (chip of the family block) Nephew in a red shirt while uncle John is the Head coach.
