I understand where JJR is coming from. We have two great HB's but if one, or both, get injured then we'll struggle. I also agree that forwards are the priority at the moment. We wont have the luxury to fall back on decent HB's if they get injured. We're just not at that stage financially. Watson knows that utility is key for a squad like ours, and if we do get injuries in key positions then he'll fill it with what we have and hope they can put a sticking-plaster over the problem until the first choices play again. That's our reality I suppose. You could possibly look to bring a young lad in as a project, to learn and be mentored by Lui and Hastings that could step in if required but there isn't many around willing to sit in second place and wait their time. In fact, there isn't many around the British game full stop.

So getting a half back for the play offs wasn't essential๐ We have that half back full time now. Wood, lussick and at a push flash are cover. U cannot cover ever situation when ur on a budget so you prioritise key areas where injuries are more likely ie the pack

I think heโd make a great centre ๐ See you and PrestwichPrick just ruin everything. I'd play JJ at prop in defence and 7 in attack, brilliant as he is ๐ Oh dear name calling now. You will block me next and join another another forum because people were having a go at you. Hang on .....

GIL DUDSON, Ok then Stattos who was the last Welsh BORN Player to play for Salford?? Was it Jorda James? No Not Jordan James he was born in Bath !! It was Rhys Williams He played on loan for us from Warrington, in 2013 Wasn't the most memorable 18 games he's ever played I reckon. And played against us last game of last Season at London Broncos and of Course probably against us at the 1st home game next season.
