If we get Inu I'd say that a backline of Evalds. Sio. Inu. Sau. Chamberlain.
Is top quality, Bibby Johnson & Olpherts add a little depth but still deeply worried that they will be playing behind a beaten pack.

Quality signing. We do need to bolster the forwards though. Gonna have a powerful backline though.

At the moment we the SS, now there's a marketing gurus nightmare.

Let's hope We don't get Red Star Belgrade in the Challenge cup Are back line wouldn't be too popular around There.

Sutton and Shearer were called SAS when they had their prolific goal scoring partnership at Blackburn That might be an easier sell

Over the moon to get someone of Sios class in the team, ripped it up in his first stint in England, here's hoping he can rip it up again

I'm wondering who's paying for Sio, this has the whiff of a marquee signing about it.
Pretty sure the Doc is behind Hastings and Lussick so can't see him dipping in again for Sio, do we have maybe another mystery benefactor?

Hastings partly paid for by Koukash and his sponsor plus the wages saved on JLJ and player sales. Lussick would not be on much in Oz as he was not a first teamer so I think this was club financed. Sio is a strange one turned down a derisory 100k ( in his words)in Oz and came to us on a 3yr deal. Maybe we have more money than we all think or there is someone out there putting money in ? Whatever it is I am happy we can get players of this calibre.

Length of contract is probably a big factor as well that is being used to offset some initial wage spike

I remember reading an interview with Marwan where he stated in terms of Wages 50k a year for an standard established Super League Player, 80k for a good one, and 100k plus for a star.
Assuming that the 100k that his Agent mentioned he was offered by Newcastle was Aus Dollars that equates to around 55k sterling.
Taking into account the 47% higher Tax rate as opposed to 40% in the UK, if we offered him 80k as a "good" Super League/NRL player over 3 years that would be significant uplift in his earnings for what will likely be his last Pro Contract.
I am aware that there are a lot of assumptions here, and I havent accounted for the exchange rate assuming he will be sending his money home, but seems like good business for everyone concerned to me, and definitely wouldnt be breaking the bank.
