Has he arrived in the country?
Not seen anything online about him or spotted him in any of the media that's been released so far.

Ian Watson said at the start of Preseason training that he'd be coming over Sometime in the last week of November or first week in December. I assume it's to do with the Visa application times.

Oh No. I really hope that the Internationally well known immigration expert from Castleford Doesn't view this Forum!!

Is Sio over here yet? I thought I picked up from Blease last night that he was still having visa issues. Anyone know the latest?

Any news on Sio yet?
Can't see why there would be visa issues with him being a regular NRL starter last season.

With Sio being a Winger /Centre I'd guess it's a lot easier to click with the Team than a Forward who has to Gel with his fellow forward a lot quicker. Those of you who may have played in the past will Be aware that the Speedsters in the Squad spend most of the time Picking there noses Trying to look to get in the Camera shot if it's a live game or scratching their Goolies and cookies ⚽️🥖

Who was it a few years ago who came over and was meant to be in tip top shape as he'd been training with Monty Betham but arrived like a professional dognut eater?

Us in the front row union do all the hard yakka and deserve a massive pay rise and world wide fame.

I had half a Season at Askam ARLFC Cumbria in the Early 80s in my mid Teens and still can remember clearly a Winger being taken to hospital for The early signs of Hypothermia. Which he had the Piss taken out of him for the next Year. Ken Sio can THANK his lucky stars he's keeping fit in mid 30c weather.

I still remember the Batley away game when O'Conner made his début and had to have his foppish hair cut as it had frozen.
Think that was the coldest I've ever been at a rugby game.

I still remember the Batley away game when O'Conner made his début and had to have his foppish hair cut as it had frozen. Think that was the coldest I've ever been at a rugby game. For me, it was an amateur game on Oldham edge. The most ridiculous place for a RL pitch in history. Think K2 with a set of H's on the top, but colder. The pitch looked very similar to no-mans land in winter 1915, full of massive craters filled to the brim with ice-cold mud and water. Even the crowd ( a small group of hardy parents) huddled together and watched from the safety of their idling Austin Montego's in the car park as the driving sleet was filling up their wellies. The conditions were so bad that both teams could only really see in one direction, so the favoured tactic was to knock-on and so get a bit of respite huddled together in the scrum. This was not a day for wingers. I think we lost three, like Captain Hardy they just disappeared into the driving Lancashire rain never to be seen again. Both sides pleaded with the ref to call it off, but he said that St Annes were not sufficiently in the lead to call the result if it was abandoned. So a few quick tries ensued and it was obligingly called off. The howls of chillblain pain seeping from the showers still haunts me to this day...

My lad about 10 yrs of age played for Langworthy against Folly Lane. Local Derby. Unfortunately it was mid December and it was freezing and had snowed all weekend. The game went on. Me and the missus had been out the night before so we’re not on the best of states especially me. We all as parents had big coats on Plus various hot drinks and watched the big derby game. I was still pissed the kids had there hands down there pants to try and keep warm and my lad scored. Proud course I was but he almost had hypothermia at the end.

Just come back to me but the first ever game at the Barton Enormadome there was someone there in just shorts and flop flops, don't think I've ever seen him again so it might have been a terminal wardrobe malfunction.
