The pack isn’t looking good for next season at the moment. We need to get in at least one good prop and not another utility forward.

The club making it sound like it was Koppy’s decision. It’s hard to imagine the club would want him to go if they weren’t lining up a replacement at least as good so I suspect Wakefield and Koppy are the forces behind but who knows?
Statement suggests there’s at least one big player coming in. Hope that’s true
Whatever the reasons, I’d like to thank Koppy for all his efforts in our shirt. Always gave his all

There was a rumour, half way through the season, that him and Watson had words. He’s ambitious and good luck to him. He had a real impact. I’ll remember his display at London away,in a losing cause. Looked a class above the rest of the pack.

Been great for us.
Hopefully we’ve got a good replacement lined up.

The only thing reassuring me about our pack for next season is that Hastings would of been made aware of the recruitment and rentaintion plans for this coming season. Doubt he would of signed if he thought for a minute we’d only be going into it with 2-3 props.

Bitterly disappointed by this, alongside Junior he has been the life blood of the team since his arrival.
You would hope the fee was substantial as he is for me in the top 10 British props in SL, had he played for a glamor club he would have received many more accolades.
Going to be very hard to replace.
Thanks Koppy, a future Salford great without doubt.

Thanks Koppy, a future Salford great without doubt. He’s been fabulous for us and I would much rather he stayed. Not sure where I’d place him in the rank of other props. I do think there are reasons why he hasn’t played at the very top level. It’s the little things that make the difference, especially technical bits of defence but his attitude, workrate and commitment puts him right up there and definitely one of our best props for a long time All that said if the rumours about him agreeing to go to Wakefield mid-season are true then it’s no wonder there was a bust up with Watson and it’s best for him and the club that he moves on with our thanks and best wishes

Sad to see Koppy leave as he always gave 110% on the pitch, which always goes down well with us fans. Wishing him all the best wherever he ends up. I suspect it's Wakefield.

Impossible to give more than 100% CK is as I said a future Salford legend, he is (for me) the biggest reason we've stayed in SL for the last couple of seasons.

Maybe he saw his arse because no one sponsored him.......
Always did well in a Salford shirt and good luck to him in future (except when playing us, obviously)
