I thought Burke was a 2nd row? Looks like a decent pre season he would be much fitter and could be an excellent ball playing #13 if required. I think he’s mostly played prop and loose forward but might be wrong? |

Just checked Wiki and that says prop or LF. I agree that we can’t really judge him til he’s had a full pre season with us. Not sure he’ll have the handling skills of flash but reckon he could do a job there
Likewise can’t see him out-‘propping’ koppy, tasi, nakuwubai etc but again could do a job for us there

So, if (or when?) Koppy goes, how do we replace him? Bring back Dai Young Being honest with Mossop, Tasi, Nakubuwai, Murray, Burke and Griffin we are still pretty well covered there. Also assuming Bennion and Burgess leave too. |

There are only two proper props in that list - we need at least one more. You can see what happened Saturday when we had a lightweight front row - the pack got murdered. |

Think in time Murray and Nakubuwai will be good props but still very young and raw currently. Be a long shot but like the Chapelhow twins from Widnes.

Still amazed we've let the French lad go, seemed to have all the raw aggression we need in a prop.

Suspect in defence it would seem. Be happy with Kavanagh if rumours are true as is another Kopczak less a few years. Crosby would have been perfect too but would seem he has eyes set on a Leeds deal. |
