Awful. Lost in the first half. Second half we cut out the errors but the damage was done. At no point did we show any organisation or creativity. London weren’t very good, except Sammut who was outstanding. Very demoralised. Disagree,I thought London played well. Their pack wasn’t bullied and Jay Pitts was good. We were poor,JLJ is never a Super League 7 so Lui had to do it on his own again but the conditions didn’t suit what he was trying to do. When Flash went to 6,or extra pivot,we were much better but the damage was done. The Broncos defence was energetic and well drilled from the start, they’d done their homework. We need to beat Toulouse. If we don’t and fail to win the MPG we deserve to go down. That hit that Hastings made on GOB could be costly.

Made no sense at the time and still doesn't, in effect could actually cost the club the very thing he was brought in to prevent.

Yes it was a stupid mistake, but that mistake cannot overshadow what the lad has done for us since he arrived. Without him we would be in serious trouble. He has brought a much needed feel good factor and if Thursday does turn out to be his last game us, then he will get the fantastic send off he deserves. I'm confident we'll get the win on Thursday.

Six Hours after the End of the game , and still I'm fuming about the Result. On Thursday There is no excuse for the "We were tired" Excuse. Mentally they weren't awake No thought given to Game plan etc. And Our expected and Depressingly familiar Slow and half arsed First 20 mins, Although there may be a Conspiracy theory available about the Chem trails from the Low passing aircraft from Heathrow. ??

Ok that’s fair in the sense that they had a decent game plan, stuck to it, and didn’t make many errors. With composure though, we should still have prevailed.

Well. I can think of better ways of wasting £200 on a day out!
To be fair London defender very well. Especially on their own try line. They didn’t do much going forward but they didn’t have to.
What a difference one man can make. We’re like an entirely different team with Hastings on than when he’s not. The players who respond do well to his prompting and passing look totally bereft of ideas when he’s missing.
We looked exactly the same as we did earlier on he season. 5 drives and a bomb for large sections of the game. No goal line drop outs forced. No pressure built apart from the 10 minutes leading up to our first try. I can see why in those conditions we would keep it tight and try and wear their pack down until the gaps come but when that didn’t work there was no guile or craft to create a gap.
And why in this conditions with a plastic pitch they didn’t put any grubbers in to go for a lucky bounce or a handling error or get the drop out I don’t get at all. Poor decision making.
We had 4 very kickable penalties and we ran everyone. That showed a lack of respect to the opposition and would have nudged us ahead meaning London would have had to chase the game and probably make errors. In the end kicking 2 of them would have won us the game
I so wanted JLJ to come in and show us that he really is a quality half but he was awful. Lui had one of his worst games for us. Flash was excellent as were Koppy, Burke and Welham. Looks on twitter like Targit is leaving. Shane as he has looked ok to me in his limited time on pitch. Rest of team were somewhere between poor and average

I apppear to be in the minority of those who don’t rate him so just wondering what I’m not seeing. Yes he can pass but so can a few of the forwards. What he can’t seem to do is make any yards whatsoever. As soon as he hits the line he drops to the floor.

Well LR you musnt have seen Burke @ Leeds where he scored a very brave try from 3 yards out. Forwards especially have to be given the ball on the burst which didnt happen yesterday.
Koppy meanwhile had a blinder - maybe because he looks for the gap rather than the man

Not for the first time on here I totally disagree with Dixon.
He may have watched Salford for 60 years plus but he is a right moaner & we seem to have plenty of them.
Last season it was his haranguing of Dobson who was - for him - far too slow etc etc & now is having a dig (again) with Watson.
Sorry but - on our budget - we are very fortunate to have Ian Watson as Coach.

Koppy meanwhile had a blinder - maybe because he looks for the gap rather than the man I saw it - good try, as was his debut try - but is it enough? Not sure what else he brings to the side in general. Agree on Koppy - he’s not hit his best form this year for whatever reason but was excellent yesterday. One of the only players I’d give much credit to.

I still say he as a free hit.We win and it's Watson's great coaching this lot.Loose and he can't be expected to do any better with this crap.Win win.

Give Watson the right tools and he has shown he is a good coach. For most of the year we have had one halfback and been selling our best players. We finally bring in a decent halfback/hooker and then win 5 games in a row.
If he is responsible for signing JLJ then he has to take some flak for that, but it's been a nightmare season for a coach with rumours of players leaving every week so overall I think he has done a good job.

Is JLJ gracing us with his presence next season ? I so wanted him to succeed yesterday and he was involved in the tries,I think, but I’ve no idea how he had an NRL pedigree . Same agent as Carrige ?

I actually thought JLJ did a good job covering at fullback for Evalds. If he has a future in the game, perhaps it’s there or in the centres.
