They’re busting a gut and giving of their best. This nebulous criticism of their efforts is so sad. Their thoughts don’t tally with everybody’s but I’d rather trust their judgment,he was a fan first remember, than the multitude of random ideas, all of which I appreciate are intended positively, found on this forum. He’s dealing with reality I've never doubted they're busting a gut. I'm still allowed to constructively criticize something if I don't think it's very good. I have no option but to trust their judgement. Who was a fan first? I didn't mention individuals. Who's dealing with reality and at what point did I say to the contrary?

Always a pleasure Carnster. I agree with some of what you say. Just wish you put things in a more balanced way. Anything you think the Club could do to survive? They're trying. They could really do with a proper guiding hand. It appears that everyone at the club has a valid idea and they're all going off trying it at the same time. If it isn't like this, then it certainly appears that way. They need to do the little things right and more often, and more importantly let us know about it properly. If it wants the fans to feel more engaged, then they need to get them to fall in love with their club again. More media, more readily available than just stuck on a youtube channel and a link on Twitter that can be missed and never seen. Kids will be on Summer Hols soon. Giving parents a chance at entertaining the kids for a reasonable price might be a start this month. The trouble is, at this stage it really is damage limitation rather than promotion of the club. They're desperate to survive this season, and cutting debt has been key to that. I just hope that its effects on the playing squad have not been so severe as to effectively be cutting its own throat.
We'll see where we are at the end of the season. I feel a drop out of SL will mean the end for us. If we survive then I expect the people behind the scenes to stop panicking, take a deep breath, and try to go about things in a more controlled and positive manner as I'm not particularly impressed with how they're going about things.
Good post this. I agree that they have lacked direction at times. I think people forget though that the takeover was only completed about 3/4 weeks before the season started. They were literally thrown in at the deep end, and have been up against it ever since mainly due to the fans staying away. They already do a family ticket for £40 which works out as 2 free kids tickets with 2 paying adults. Maybe they need to promote this more over the school holidays. They will have a few months with a full off season to put more long term plans in place so hopefully we will see things pick up and more importantly we will see the fans getting behind them.

Seeing as you edited your last post that I replied to, which part do you not agree with and why?
