With the continued absence of Burgess and Johnsons alarming drop in form I would say the 2 players we got for Hauraki is a bloody good deal. Watched game back and he didnt seem arsed, plus he gave away his usual quota of stupid penalties.

I'd comment further on this if it could be confirmed as the guy is a fucking embarassment to the country and anyone who supports him is basically declaring themself as a racist as well, despite how they want to dress it up. |

But if not, I don’t know how anyone can claim he was ‘wrongly jailed’ when he pleaded guilty. His actions could have led to the case against those groomers faling apart. |

I know thats why im here, dont know about you lads. Tbh I think it's a fair topic to discuss if (what seemed like a fairly hefty chunk of) Widnes fans were showing support for a far-right sympathiser. Our sport gets very little press coverage as it is so if (IMO) inappropriate chants are picked up during a live broadcast it isn't exactly going to portray Rugby League in a good light is it? I know if our fans chanted it I'd be disgusted. |

I know if our fans chanted it I'd be disgusted. I take your point mate, but ultimately it wasn't our fans who were doing the chanting. After it was established it did take place and it was the Widnes fans it feels a little bit redundant. It would either result in posts repeating righteous indignation, or discussing the the merits of Tommy "Im definitley not a racist" Robinson as a man. Which in my opinion isn't likely to end anywhere harmonious. Just feels a little off topic to me thats all. |
