Haha pretty hard to see anything positive out the last few games, do you really think we will stay in superleague, because at the minute the championship clubs will not fear facing us

Very strange game, looked in control until half time, must have been some team talk. I’m a big Watson fan but that second half tonight was so bad, he has to take some of the blame. I don’t think they lacked effort, but some poor tackle attempts (especially that last try) and stupid penalties. Refs weren’t great, but that bloke hurling abuse at the in goal ref in the second half.. why? What’s that going to achieve?
Also mentioned on the radio brough was involved in something at the end, I didn’t see anything? Any idea?

Again, we started off alright, even up until half time. And then, yet again, it all went pear shaped.
Can’t see where our next win is going to come from now. Widnes at home maybe, and that’s it - and not enough for the top 8.
Barring a miracle, we’re in for a nervy middle 8s I’m afraid

Mrs Brough was fighting after the match. At least somebody said she was female.

Tonight was yet another stark, glaringly obvious reminder that we severely lack any invention. We were beaten, again, by a team every inch as poor as we are but run by an astute, albeit thoroughly dislikeable rugby league brain. If we are to stand any hope of survival we need a player in this mould who can direct us around the pitch and make the important game changing decisions. Littlejohn and Shorrocks have shown to be not up to this task and Lui is a good supporting player but not a general. Unless Dobson makes a Lazarus type comeback then only Smith or Sandow coming in will stand us any chance as we seem hopelessly rudderless currently.

We couldn’t even manage to get the minutes applause right tonight, which was embarrassing seeing as the 3 kids who brought the ball on to the pitch were at the concert.

Piss poor. Hope all the stayaway fans who wanted Koukash out are happy typing away whilst the club they claim to love sinks into obscurity. Look forward to reasons why St James Park is easier to get to than AJ Bell is.

To all those fans who went on about Nial being the better fullback. Now u understand the importance of having an extra pivot and what ia difference it can be for u in attacking creativity

There’s no point blaming fans lapsed or otherwise, people will always make reasons not to go especially when we are playing so poorly. It’s a mammoth job for the trust to come up with a reason not to miss out. As we said last year there’s no point kicking off about low attendances it just alienates further Niall has been playing well, he’s not the reason for this bad run. I’m an Obrien fan am still gutted he left, but I don’t see see it’s down to that.
Last night the game seemed to change when Leeming came on for them, his pace at ptb caused us all kinds of problems. We’re missing brinning, but we’re also missing numbers. Obvious point to make but the likes of Wood aren’t making the same impact as they were a few months back. The forwards look knackered after half time. We’ve only got 2 games in the next 4 weeks, get some bodies back/in (please!!!) and get some good feeling around the club, even if we do go in to middle 8s let get there on the back of some wins. Alls not lost

I expected a big Salford win last night in front of a sub 2000 crowd. I thought we were ok in the first half and it looked like we had plenty more possession generally (happy to be proved wrong with stats) and just couldn’t score.
As has been said elsewhere we need an organiser on the field who can see or create the gaps. Considering there was a lot of opposition to Kevin Brown when he was rumoured in the off season I wonder how many wish we’d have taken him now.
I honestly can’t see Watson going because a) we can afford to pay him off and b) we’d struggle to find a replacement.
So yes lack of outside backs is a concern but I think the pace is there with Niall and Olpherts but we just seem to be using them as extra props too early in the tackle count for me. If there is transfer money available then the priority, especially for the 8’s needs to be an experienced scrum half.

Plenty of effort but giving penalties away and dropping the ball did not help the cause. Griffin, although he works hard, is the main offender,he gives to many penalties away and drops the ball. Said before we need a different game plan cannot keep driving it in

It looked like two championship sides to me.As for the game its self still the same game plan just a better kick at the end. Also are on line defence is none existant. Why was are supposed most creative player feeding the scrum.I will give Watto some credit he talks a good game,we looked better in the last five minutes when we decided to play like the Harlem Globetrotters.Lastly the person on about Obrien Evales is still with us Obrien took the money and left the sinking ship Having said all this I will still be there where ever we are long after Koucash as gone to is nest project you see its in the blood.

No complaint about the team effort. I am beginning to see that we are not good enough with the current players. Question: What is the problem with Burgess and Jones? would someone in a serious way explain what Griffin brings to the party other than effort. As Scoot says he can be a liability. Is the rumour true that Lannon is on his way to HKR? Thanks

I think it's exactly a year ago that I caught the away match at Warrington on my way back from work in South Wales. Great turn out, top performance, Todd Carney's best match for the club. 5 in a row? How things have changed in 12 months. If we sell many more players we risk not even getting a team of 17 on the pitch. It certainly teaches you resiliance, being a Salford fan. I won't give up on it, but it's hard work at the minute!
