Again no lack of effort, plus a couple of harsh calls against us at crucial times, but ultimately we are completely toothless in attack. Lui was outstanding under difficult circumstances, Shorrocks will get better I think but my god Littlejohn is basically invisible. We could’ve played for another hour and not scored, complete lack of creativity. Tasi also a complete liability, no wonder he didn’t make it at saints.
Wire were there for the taking today.

Derrell (stay on your wing) Olpherts cost us today, can't see how he can have been as prolific in the lower leagues when he chases the ball inside like he does.
Annoyingly the only time he did the right thing Lui savaged him for palming the ball dead when maybe he could have shepparded it dead - at least Junior bollocked Lui for it at the drop out.

We have no pace , no real attacking threat and it makes you think what attacking options are run through in training
We are struggling but the only people we can bring in are more forwards like Levy , Griffin , McCarthy so unless we sign people we are left with what we have .
Our only 2 wingers are injured in Matu and Johnson , we need to change our attacking focus

Just watching the Wigan game - they have just been awarded a try that involved a big obstruction. How Weller’s got chalked off today and this one got given I’ll never know. Typical!

I’m not having a pop at the players , just saying what I see .
We have what we have , we’ve got a small budget but aren’t offering enough threat going forward
I think I’m entitled to an opinion though

1. A forum formed to discuss a sports team can discuss whatever it wants within the rules set. This isn't a Draconian space where only one thing will be tolerated. 2. 'Think you can do better?' is a poor argument. I think the backstreet boys are dreadful, but I can't sing to save my life. Doesn't make me wrong though does it? 3. We know the team's on a budget. Nobody is expecting miracles. 4. 'Don't comment' is also a bad thing to suggest in an open forum. It's tantamount to saying 'If you don't agree with me then don't you dare post to the contrary.'

I’ve stayed positive so far but that was terrible. Wire are not a good side. The pre-season recruitment was shocking - a load of forwards that we don’t need, no backs and a replacement for Dobbo that isn’t even in the same league.
Shockingly bad.

A few have praised the effort and work rate and whilst they're spot on, this will only get us so far. To break down top sides in SL you need a good level creativity and range of attacking options. We only have one real creative player who was at full back today. We got away with it against a woeful Catalans and a poor defensive Hull team. Not sure what the answer is if we don't bring some quality halves in. Shorrocks has only trained twice so unfair to judge yet, but Littlejohn has shown nothing and gone missing in too many games now.

Not sure I understand the criticism of Tasi,really don’t.
Littlejohn is likely to make the list of worst Aussie imports. Can’t see how he was first reserve in the NRL.
Have to give the Wigan lad the benefit of the doubt for now but he was anonymous.
There had to be a better option than Lui at full back.
Why was Wood spelled for so long ?
Why was Burgess given so few minutes ?
Warrington are a terrific attacking side but didn’t fancy taking on our tough pack and adapted their tactics accordingly.
Reinforcements needed and Little John should go back to Sherwood Forest

Derrell (stay out on the your fecking wing) Olpherts looked like he'd been given a game in Super League because he needed to learn how to play RL. The very first kick Warrington put up he and Lui caught simultaneously set the tone of not quite knowing what was happening or how to actually play right at the back, Lui did though show endless chutzpah throughout the game.
JLJ, why didn't he play? purely and simply is obviously not interested, can't be arsed or is just plain cack.
Why is Josh Wood not playing the full 80? Really don't get why in SL we see the omni 6/7/9 being spelled where in the NRL we get the very best playing 80 minutes ALA Smith/Luke/Cook.

Think the problem MR was tiredness if you listen to Watson.
Don't think we're far off. Just need an organiser, Dobson type. At least we're there or there about. Lets hope these rumours of new players and exchanges are true.

For years we have had an average/adequate pack of forwards with pretty decent backs, We have at last got a very, very good set of forwards but the backs are lacking in flair, it probably stems from not having a creative 7 like Dobson, when Dobson first came quite a lot of people were on his back. ATM everyone is on Littlejohn's back, including me, will he come good I don't think so
People won't pay good money to watch rubbish, like they are playing at the moment. Agree the effort is there but they are not entertaining, do admit 3 games in 8 days does not help

Waited till this morning to watch it again. We're not too far away, yet again inept officiating at crucial times cost us. Kevin Browns elbow to Lui, ignored, Kevin Brown knock on, Westwood swinging arm to Sau’s head, forward passes galore. Littlejohn did more than he gets credit for but I think we’re all keen to see how we do with Lui & Shorrocks in the halves and Niall at FB.
On to Shudds next week.
Players put their bodyies on the line playing 3 games in 9 days, coaches risk their jobs because it’s a results business but it comes down to the competence of the man in the middle.
