Pretty much same squad as Friday apart from Olpherts in for Bibby. No sign of Shorrocks yet.
Can we get anything? I’d be happy with a decent performance and no injuries. They only got a point on good Friday so they’ll be hungry for a win.

Every season we upset one of the big boys away from home, sadly this year I don't think it will be against Leeds. Think tomorrow we'll do well to keep it to a single digit defeat.
Has Bibby been rested or is he injured?

Don’t gift them points and put in a decent performance and I’ll be happy with that, but they will be hurting from just scraping a draw against Huddersfield

Thought there might be more changes from Fridays team. I suspect we might see a couple people of last minute changes. I think we’ll struggle against Warrington if we have the same team playing in that game too. I would have thought Johnson was more likely to miss than Bibby. I know Jake hurt his shoulder when scoring but he seemed fine for rest of the match. Johnson was limping towards the end of the game after a heavy tackle. My heart is telling me there might be an upset on but my head can’t see anything to suggest there might be!!

It depends which Leeds turns up, they can either be world beaters or bang average. They'll be looking to win this one having only drawn against Huddersfield, plus getting beat the week before. We'll have to be at the top of our game if we want to get anything, and keep silly mistakes and penalties to a minimum.

I've never ever seen us get anything at Leeds as long as I've lived. Just one of those fixtures so I'm not expecting much.

Carnster you're obviously forgetting the forward pass in the recent match at Leeds, but of course the ref, who was running alongside play was unsighted and the linesman was unsighted by the ref.

You'd think that if we sign Russell he'll play against Warrington (unless they put a proviso to prevent it) and have no little motivation.
Johnson did look like his knee was really troubling him towards the end, he has both strapped anyway so agreed Bibby to remain in the 17 and him to get a spell of rest, think with Griffin coming back into the squad we might see JJ pushed backwards into the 3/4s.

I would hesitate moving JJ. He is really impressing with his efforts this season and I believe it may be because he is having a consistent run in the pack. Don’t underestimate how little Watson changes players and positions unless forced to.

His versatility is priceless.

One win super league and, it turns out, 4 wins since 1945 according to Paul Hulme the Salford fan statto on Twitter one of my first proper away games was at Leeds in, I think, 1989. First time on supporters coach (apart from the semi v Wigan a year or 2 earlier). I think we were something like 24-6 up ended up losing 32-28. Scores might not be exactly right. We looked unbeatable until we were beaten!! Been many games like that since then. And many where we’ve been hammered

Stopped going because we always get beat and I can’t stand the arrogance of the fans. Remember going, back in the day,and Colin Dixon scored 2 long range tries early on. No idea whether that was one of the wins but I think it probably was. Happy days

We were well in control at half time and came out in the second half with a game plan. Kick early and chase. Unfortunately the coach forgot to tell the players to tackle as well as chase . In probably 20 visits to Headingley that's the closest I've been to seeing them win.
