Wow! Listened to it on the radio and never saw it coming. I think I would have been happy with a 20 minus loss. Fantastic result against a top 4 team, let’s hope we follow it up against Widnes.

We needed that for morale. Well done to the lads on the pitch tonight. Hull were without their key threats, but you can only play what's in front of you.
Credit where it's due.

Hull are not a "top four team". In fact, they are only just above us on points difference. Widnes will be a test of our true mettle.
Having said that, this was a great win. Well done to the boys!

Beat Hull and a shockingly inept referee (for both teams).

Nice turn up for the books. We know they can defend so good to see them notch up a few trys. Didn’t go so would be good to hear about what worked and who stood out?

Thought josh jones, mossop, lui, sau, all outstanding. Johnson looked back to what we saw a few years back, welham played well til he got injured. To be fair I couldn’t really pick anyone who didn’t play well. Defensively looked solid, hull didn’t pose much threat but how much of that was down to us I don’t know. The ref was the worse I’ve seen for a long time, that knock on from the kick which he said went backwards! Awful. Top top performance and result. Very happy

A superb team performance. The defence was fantastic. The boys were a credit to the club and themselves.Well done Ian Watson for getting the best out of them.If we get that effort every week we can't ask for more.We beat Hull FC and the inept officials tonight. It seems we got a lot more for GOB than we thought makes it even better.

Could only listen on the radio as was working but it sounded fantastic! So pleased for the team and fans after all the negativity we deserved that! Well done Salford

Absolutely fantastic. One of the best nights since we moved to the stadium. And all achieved just 5 days after apparently losing our best attacking threat.
Well done to everyone involved.

Evalds international class tonight, never put a foot wrong. But as Carnster always finds something negative to say 'Hull we're without their key threats'. Come on Carnster just try v hard to enjoy life without looking for an excuse to play things down.
Salfords pack were brilliant and battered one of the biggest and best packs in the league in spite of an inept referee. Don't think I've ever seen a Salford pack play better.. Lui and Littlejohn are getting there and Sneyd was inept as was his moronic half back partner.
So Carnster, just enjoy it. Life's great when you look at the positives.

I deal in facts.
Pointing at someone and bringing other areas into a thread that wasn't called for is the negative thing here, ironically.

Fantastic performance. Watson must take huge credit for this. With all the negativity of late it would have been no surprise to see a team going through the motions. We looked up for it from the word go and were excellent all over the park. Must mention Greg Johnson. Best I've seen him for some time.

I was impressed last night. It wasn’t the best performance, still not up to last years best but a win was really important and the way team worked so hard for each other and the way we were ruthless in the last 20 was great to see and spoke volumes about the attitude of the players and how they will respond to the coach. About 15 or so into the second half Hull were throwing a lot at us and we were starting to struggle in attack and defence but we hung in with some brilliant scrambling defence, holding our line and some masssive hits at times. Then Johnson made the break, we backed up well and scored and didn’t look back from there. We knew we cou win then and went for it.
The pack was immense again (have we ever had better), Johnson had his best game for a long time and Littlejohn had his best game yet for us. And Junior was incredible again. He is an absolute monster. Difficult to choose an MoM but I’d go for Nakubuwai or Johnson i think
