There are understandings at play in the application of the rules which favour attacking sides and the list is too long to illustrate but boils down to sides defending infringe more than those attacking. When you add this to generally accepted ideas that certain (top4) sides are the most disciplined it becomes hard for anyone else to get a look in. Then there's the accepted notion that particular sides are less disciplined and surprise surprise they're penalised more often than not. This is a fine set up for those that benefit but it should never be the case that penalty counts look ridiculously imbalanced in a game like RL. Refs don't tend to miss things they're mostly just applying something else. And last of all apart from the six again rule which remains a mystery to everyone the number of times that fans don't see what has actually happened beggars belief and even when shown won't accept the truth. In this way it's a bit like being a Trump Maga person and if God told you something and Donald doesn't agree you wouldn't believe the Almighty!
I also suspect very few fans have ever bothered to read an RL rule book.

Liam Moore is not a fan of cas either?!jeez it was 28-0 after 20 minutes I don’t think they needed help off Moore!as for castleford they are a really poor side and last week was a game we should not be losing of course we praise the team when there good but 36 points to that castleford side was simply atrocious!there’s only two games castleford have scored more than 20 and there both against us! TBH I still think the interpretation and application of the rules allied with fans rarely knowing the rules that causes most of the problems we have with refs.

From Total
"THE BBC viewing figures for Hull KR’s victory over Leigh Leopards and Warrington Wolves’ impressive win over St Helens have been revealed.
Both fixtures took place on BBC Two, with KR-Leigh taking place on Saturday and Saints-Warrington being played yesterday.
Now, Rugby League on TV has revealed that KR’s victory over Leigh (BBC Two Saturday) had an average viewing figure of 381,000 with a 521,000 peak (6.30pm) and 3.8% audience share.
On Sunday, St Helens v Warrington (BBC Two Sunday) had a 342,000 average with a 414,000 peak (6pm) and 3.5% audience share.
During Saturday’s fixture, Rovers ran out 26-14 winners whilst Warrington secured a shock 31-8 win over Saints."
Once again just reporting numbers watching and no doubt IMG will be given some credit for that too, along the line.

It is very much the usual silly conversation(s) Saints were outplayed by a Wolves' side able to do things at speed, and afterwards Saints' fans(?) starting in on Wellens. So it could be the story of another former hero biting the dust. It's also interesting how impatient, entitled and delusional success can make you over time.

SRD seem very quiet at present almost like they've left the buiding, a bit like a night out in one of those little pubs that used to be dotted all over Salford with two obligatory old people sitting at opposite ends of the room with not a word to pass between them. Think they’ve had a week off So that means sayin' nowt to your fans?

Leigh and HKR are good sides to watch and the Leopards didn't take charge when they had the chance.

It's like RL joins the Tory Party nepotism and unhealthy over promotion.

Before the Cas match this was my worry game, after Cas I think the same.
I wonder what squad Rowles will pick for this one, assuming he's still with us of course.

Now and again even Wilkin is correct like a stopped clock ... Hull's problems are not altogether coach related.
Move for a Director of Rugby shows this all too well.
They're talking more investment coming in which will determine who joins them.
