Putting together a decent looking team for next season are Wigan. In other news, London have signed a half back from the NRL for the remainder of the season. Hopefully he creates the Jackson Hastings effect that happened to us at the end of last season, climbing them up the table, and thus relegating Leeds. Just hope he isn't available against us! I hope he doesn't relegate us.

Don’t start me off on him. I had very high hopes when he was appointed. Absolute waste of space. Thats the cleaned up version ! He was useless at the FA before we got him.We now have Tony Adams on board.

I really wonder sometimes what our fans are on when talking about players being sold or let go to other clubs and what a disgrace it is. WE HAVE NO MONEY. It is a miracle that we are still here and competing. It’s another rebuild next year, no superstars just hard working players who have a point to prove in some cases and others who see Salford as a stepping stone to bigger and better things. It will always be this way with maximum crowds of around 4K. I applaud IW IB and the board for having sense and not going the pay over the top route for average players of previous management. Their are know superstars in the League. We have supposedly had a couple who thought they were who went to Ozz who are now back in England they wouldn't let them hold the coats.Their is a few good players superstars no.

I thought it was a very good performance Welham was outstanding. Watson was on his own.As Gleeson now finished completely.

Junior asked to leave end of story. He was a good player for Salford nowhere near the great some people are saying and best wishes at his new club. Let’s move on now. Friend. Sau his better on one leg than Olpherts. And on is display at Wire he would have been playing Sunday. If Leeds or anyone else for that matter had offered 100 hundred grand for Evalds do we let him go as well.

If we are after a replacement surely we have one lined up. Sarginson. Let's concentrate on the here and now. Next season will take care of it's self.

Talking of refs, what has happened to James Child? Hasn't reffed any SL games for a while now. Has he been demoted? He’s linesman tonight then referring the Toulouse game on Saturday. I’m not a fan of criticising referees, and in no way do I think he’s biased or anything similar, but I just don’t think Child should be a Super League ref. He seems unable to let games flow - his constant calling of penalties/infringements when most referees would have let it go spoils games for me. It must be me then John I do think he is biased and I don't think he is the only one and I would think a few of our lads would agree. I know they have a difficult job but I see it this way their is decisions that are stright forward it the fifty fifty decisions teams like Salford and London and Wakefield's don't get against the Saints and Wigan's and Leeds of this world you saw it at the Saints game earlier this season I think if you saw Watto in a pub and asked him about that incident he would say the same thing we were robbed If that incident had happened at the other end to Saints they get it.

Surely we should have kept him till the end of the season, especially how he did against wire.I hope we haven't put the cue on the rack . Can't we still get in the play off.I am sure their will be a few who disagree but just my opinion.

Quite amazing a 6 from a bat handle and England win the World Cup after 7 weeks of cricket by scoring most boundaries in the match after a tied super over. Not cricket old boy. [br If hadn't been decided that way they were going with who had been to the loo the most.

Just been speaking to Ian Watson's mum in the pub and she was telling me the lengths he goes to in order to meticulously prepare for every game, and how difficult it is to continuously recruit new players when our current crop leave at the end of the season. It goes without saying that he's a bit of a miracle worker given the financial constraints the club works under. I didn't realise that his Dad was a massive Swinton fan and still hates the idea of him coaching Salford, let alone playing for us in the past! All the coaches who have won something in the Super League era have spent a lot of money doing it. It's the same with football All the so cold x factor managers Fergie Kloop and Pep they might have star dust in one hand but they had a big cheque book in the other.Ian Watson is doing a brilliant job.
