Kappa Erreà Lotto Fila Ellesse
A few more Italian apparel brands. Kappa supplied Toronto Wolfpack and their off field stuff was quite comprehensive.

I'm not a bankruptcy expert, but perhaps someone can answer this question. Your business is struggling and you've decided to pull out. Do you a) declare the business bankrupt OR b) liquidate all your assets and then declare the business bankrupt? Bonitared, the new contracts now make sense because he can sell those players for cold, hard cash rather than lose them for nothing when the administrator takes over. I hadn't thought of that before. Info on winding up a company is here: www.gov.uk/liquidate-your-companySo, hypothetically, if Marwan did want to liquidate the company rather than transfer ownership, he could could pay off all of the club’s liabilities, transfer the assets to a new company run by the trustees, and close the company. That’s the generous route. Alternatively, he could asset strip the company to cut his losses (the Gordon Gekko route) – and/or put it into administration (the sensible route). Of course, if there was a buyer, he could also sell it.

Can someone explain what the Supporters' Trust is at the moment? Does it needs a relaunch because it's been dormant, or because it's thought that there should be more exposure, or because it needs fresh impetus? Does it have anything to do with Forever Reds? All of those I reckon. Forever Reds is the Supporters Trust. I've had a search on t'inter and can find nothing about it. Unlike, say, Wakefield Trinity or Plymouth Argyll, it's not a limited company. Nor could I find anything on the Charity Commisioners' website - unlike, for example, the Salford Red Devils Foundation. Forever Reds is an industrial and provident society: beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/IP29825Rmutuals.fsa.gov.uk/SocietyDetails.aspx?Number=29825&Suffix=RLike any registered legal entity, it is required to file accounts and has officials that are held to account.

but presumably you pass assets into a trust and not liabilities. I don’t know the answer to that but I assumed that he would be passing the 2013 Club, which has previously been owned by one of the Euromatech companies, into the Trust. The alternative would be that he walked and took the debts with him. Doesn’t sound like the actions of the doctor we know and love Unlikely. I wouldn’t expect anybody to take on liabilities of which a significant chunk of which was from the previous club. If he were to wipe £8m clean, however, fair play to the man.

You can download the club’s accounts, and the previous company’s filings, on the Companies House website. They are freely available.

Chan it does work in Germany and no reason why it can't work here (and ticket prices at top clubs start at £10, compare that to Utd) The big German clubs can do this because their corporate income subsidises it. There is a stronger sense of CSR in German football. Bayern Munich, for example, is second only to Manchester United in terms of corporate income but as a proportion of their total it is significantly greater. Sadly, I doubt rugby league clubs bring in enough money to allow this. It could work easily in RL, where the club only needs £2M a year to run it. It depends at what level you want the club to be. Super League clubs, of course, require much more money. Salford has been losing over £1m a year for a long time. On last year’s accounts, the club lost £1.35m and has liabilities of £8.2m. The CVA, which the club hasn’t paid for a while (because they have asked for a break) works out at around £27,000 per month to pay. There is over 3 years left on the CVA to run. Look at Wigan: last year, they made a £600,000 loss on a turnover of £7m. Of course, we have something in common – both clubs do not own their grounds. I think the supporter-owned model is admirable but you have be looking at being a Championship-level club at best, such as Rochdale Hornets. And it is not a panacea. Look what happened to Stockport County. FC United have had their problems too.

Fairness and merit does not come into it. The RFL opted for jeopardy until the last, and they’ve got it.

How long would it take to walk from the Trafford Centre to the AJ Bell? I park near Eccles RL which takes around 20 mins. Not even sure there is going to be pedestrian access over the bridge, don't forget the Metrolink will go over it eventually and you'd been a hell of a wide bridge for 2 lanes of traffic, pedestrians, probably a cycle lane and the trams. The plan is/was to cover everything.

They have a concession in House of Fraser on Deansgate – both in the normal Men’s bit and the annex.

Well a marquee player counts as £175,000 on the cap (£100,000 if club trained). So, you’ll be paying that as a minimum. You could pay them £3 million but they would still be £175,000 on the cap.

3rd | Salford | 101 | 26 | 4th | Wakefield | 91 | 26 | 5th | Hull FC | 54 | 25 |
Hull FC vs. Huddersfield (Fri) Leigh vs. Salford (Fri) Wakefield vs. St Helens (Sun) Only 10 points difference between us and Wakefield. Wakefield will also know what they need to do on Sunday. What if Salford and Wakefield both win and finish on the same points difference?
Points percentage comes into play. This is calculated as: (points for ÷ points against) * 100. At present: Salford = 121.26 Wakefield = 119.57 If this number is level, then most tries comes into play: Salford = 100 Wakefield = 95 If this number is level, then most goals comes into play: Wakefield = 88 Salford = 85 If this number is level, then most drop goals comes into play: Salford = 2 Wakefield = 0 If this number is level, then a coin toss decides the higher ranked team!
