I think the new signing is Jenna! But will she play prop or wing?😉

Rumours are okay, but Fantasy Rugby League is that way ---> 😉

We’re not in a position to pick good fans we need money simple. The hardcore won’t keep the club going I appreciate that, what I'm saying is this probably isn't a pool we should be fishing in for them. If backroom upheaval, financial restrictions, and sporadic onfield performance, all coupled with the hypothetical promise of better times just around the corner, are deal breakers for these "Supporters" then perhaps Salford Red Devils arent the Team for them. I'm not sure how big a pool we would be talking about anyway, hopefully not that large. Personally, with the exception of immediate family and a couple of close mates I have 2 great loves in my life, Manchester United and Salford Red Devils. I cant really imagine baling on either of them because they weren't quite as good as they used to be. As I scream towards middle age I can honestly say Salfords "Good times" cumulatively add up to approximately 3 and half seasons, but yeah perhaps I should have gone to watch Wigan, it would have been better for my heart anyway. But not for your soul. 😉

I've just read the club's email about our signing of Chris Hankinson and I must say that I wish we would employ a copy editor. Putting "singing" instead of "signing" is poor. have you ever kissed a girl? Indeed I have. And I liked it. So much so that I did it again and again and again!

I understood that Elijah's knees were giving him problems and that he had decided to step down a level. If that is the case, we should not offer him a contract. If, however, he decides that his knees (and the rest of him) are good and convinces Blease and Rowley of that, then we should.

A 29-game season? Please, no! The demands on the players are already high enough. We should go for a 14 team league, 26 games and if you must have a Grand Final, then either 1st plays 2nd or top 4 play-off. I accept that there are not enough players of the right quality for 14 teams, but no other solution is without fault.

Thanks JJR. "The IMG criteria" sounds ominous, basically an excuse to get rid of anyone they don't want.

Can someone clarify something for me? I am hopelessly confused about the 2024 season. Will there be any promotion or relegation in RL? I've heard conflicting rumours from different sources. Help! Sorry! Probably posted this in the wrong thread.

I don't know if my version of events is correct or Chief's. Either way, the Willows was, effectively, not ours at the time.

I'm not sure that the Willows was clearly ours. I thought that JW had borrowed against the ground to keep the club afloat and, by the end, the ground was barely an asset if at all. Wasn't this why we had no collateral in the new stadium?

I'll try to reserve my judgement until we hear something more concrete, but it sounds like we're up the creek without a paddle. It's sad, if so, but we haven't attracted enough fans and the RFL have delivered the coup de grace. Hope something turns up.

I'm not sure what you're finding difficult but if nothing else when you read or here what people say you can draw conclusions which you didn't seem to find hard with my post. When the seagulls follow the trawler it is because they think sardines will be thrown in to the sea So, why do they congregate at the rubbish tip? Because of the muck they can rake up? (Either seagulls or journos)

I think this thread is going to be painful and hilarious in equal measure.
