This is just what we need at the moment. Two good relatively young players with bags of potential committing their futures to the cause. This, for me, is just as good news as signing new players. This will hopefully prevent the turnover of 10-12 players each season and give us the consistency to build on each season.

It's Captain Elijah Taylor βπ© Congratulatons. Maybe he can fly us over when we play Catalans It's some good news because he's been having some pain back home. Not only has he been ripped off by his ex agent but someone has posted a fake video of him supposedly threatening to stab his ex agent. Phony video leaves Elijah Taylor fuming after ugly manager breakdown

Paul Rowley's new role has been outlined as Head of rugby development, talent & pathways. It looks like a really good appointment and hopefully we can get our Academy structure back in place and producing some homegrown players. For me it looks like the club are trying to build on the foundations of our recent achievements and all credit to them. Paul Rowley

Dec Patton now officially released by Warrington, Marshal used to coach him Ben Barba linked with Leigh I think Dec Patton would be perfect for us if we can afford him. Work with Kevin Brown this year with a view to stepping into his shoes next year. He looked good marshalling (No pun intended) the young Warrington players around in our game last season. He's worked with both Kevin and Richard Marshall before at Wire as well.

He appears very down to earth with his comments and hopefully he can make as much of an impact as Joey did. Hopefully he can get back to full fitness very quickly and give us some go forward.

I think the best way to handle these rankings is to pin them up in the dressing room and show the players. If that doesn't motivate then I don't know what would. Saying that, we have assembled a really good looking team on paper, but at the minute that's all it is. We need to gel and start performing to the best of our ability to see what our true ranking should be.
It will be of more interest next year to see what our ranking is!
Another factor to take into account is the players selected by the Hull Daily Mail may not necessarily be the players selected by our coaching team.

Adding to Bonita's link. It looks like we're getting a very modest hard working professional player who's willing to help the younger players in our squad. Elijah Taylor looks like a great addition to our suad Player Profile

I think he lives in Salford rather than Manchester?π Do you think it kills the Levi signing because of money or is our quota now full? I think our overseas players are: Lussick Sio Inu Ikahihifo Taylor Lolohea Pauli I still get confused about the quota but I think 7 is the limit? RUTB I don't think Darcy Lussick counts on the overseas quota because all the Toronto players were given a dispensation to help them find an alternative club. I'm not 100% certain and the RFL may have changed their minds since then. With Darcy signing he gives us another rugged front rower and I think we've got the strongest squad we've had for a long time. If we could get Danny Levi then we'd have that bit of extra spark from dummy half and a lot more go forward. The only potential weakness is lack of another organising half back if Kevin Brown gets injured

Glad we've tied Ed up to a new contract because he looked very promising before he got injured.
I suppose with the extension to Krisnan's contract it was inevitable we would need to loan out one of the outside backs. Ed being a goalkicking Winger/Centre seems the obvious choice.

But we're basing this off what Watson liked. Marshall and Orr might like players in complete different positions so i guess we'll have to wait and see. I was about to say the same. Everyone starts from a level playing field with the new coaching set up. I'm sure that Richard Marshall & Danny Orr will have a way they want us to play and I think the team will be dependent on that and how the players perform in pre season training. There may be a few surprises come game day of our first match. I think it will also dependent on how players gel together as well. Interesting times ahead

Like the look of this signing , decent age with a great pedigree Still has plenty to offer and can play big minutes , would love another big prop in the Dodson mould and another 9 unless weβre looking to have play Atkin there more We have been linked with Danny Levi the Manly hooker who would fit the hole left by Joey. He's got fast distribution, scoots from dummy half and is great in defence and would be ideal for us. I don't know if it was Danny Levi or Elijah Taylor, but being greedy, it would be a great fit for the team if we got both. If we can gel, I don't think many teams will be looking forward to playing us in 2021

He was recently in Court case In Australia After he was ripped off for around AUD $350.000. Around Β£200.000 by a former Manager/Agent. Wonder if his contract is a smaller salary due to this happening. It makes really sad reading and makes a mockery of "winning" court cases in civil courts. Let's make sure he enjoys his time playing for SRD's NZ Herald article
