There are far too many negative comments on this forum and it has ceased to be a site for decent discussion. Spot on Dave. And why the Levin loving Russ has to comment on every single post mostly in a negative manner I just do not understand. Oh humm!

People put things on a forum cos they've something they want to say, they may even want people to discuss what they've said, ridiculous or what?
They don't really need someone telling them they're just being panicky or going overboard.
Though ending with philosophy can never be quite as good as finishing on a song!

Anyway, I see there's now a list of second choices being mooted, and so it goes!

Time to focus on Saturday and show our support. I’m hearing Singo might be fit. We’ve definitely missed him It's definitely true what you say and despite some on here describning Singo's efforts as being a bit ordinary it seems his absence has shown what a poor assessment that was.

I’d definitely take him are pack is so hit and miss king is a good prop If he is not injured at present our pack would benefit to some extent.

just shows what a poison chalice Dull FC are. no doubt rumours will start again when Leeds need a new coach. In the meantime, time to show him support and get stadium sorted out asap. Well the RL media don't share your opinion ( I know you'll be gobsmacked and saddened by this news ).
From the coverage they've made it look like it's the most amazing and surprising decision in the sporting universe, so sure were they it would happen.
Which goes to show either the RL Press is remarkably uninformed, totally lacking in research or are completely oblivious to what state (sadly) Hull are in.
Also if you count the number of games it took to sack Smith you'd see the extent of your own shelf life!
It's also an illustration of how much the media can create their own snowball effect and I for one believed it to be happening.
I blame Jon Wilkin and Myler !

From what I am being told, their was no way he was going at any stage. Good!
And in which case, a statement should've been made there & then!

I find some of the reaction on here fascinating, with a very interesting choice of words to dismiss how people felt about the possibility of Rowles leaving. It was a real story and possibility not a rumour, not conjecture.
I think the reaction of those who were upset was not about Rowles leaving so much as the living same old story again and again.

TBH I'm really glad you said this because it goes to show what I suspected all along social media is full of yesterday's news dressed up as relevant and unnecessary personal stuff. You can't claim the most successful side when it's barely the same side from all those achievements you mention.
Being a fan doesn't mean being blind to the fact it appeared to be Groundhog Day at the club's departure lounge nor ignoring the effect it may have had on the fanbase.
No idea what you are going on about Russ. Everything that’s taken place, which was the comment I was responding to, is by its very nature yesterday’s news. we can find negative in anything if we really want. Anyway, good news. Remains to be seen who rejected the offer but either way it’s good. We need to realistic though if we continue to be successful (or not depending on who you ask) it’ll happen again and we shouldn’t lose our minds over it. Enjoy the ride 😊 Yesterday is all those cup and league achievements you brought up where the team was almost entirely different never mind the coaching staff!
What we need above all is as much consistency as can be managed and that can't be done if every period we're either losing coaches or players.
Ask Hull!

Commutation is what we ask for The way watto Croft and ackers was handled was all wrong with the fans finding out through other people without the club informing or just confirming that an offer was made Seems the club has learned from that which is all we can ask Now I know Rowles is regarded as top coach and that was bound to make him a target, but surely there other candidates available with no fees involved or hurdles to jump.
And I didn't like to bring this up just in case everyone asked where the money is but the role of Myler seemed suspect to me when this started being mentioned but that could be because I'm not overly fond of him and this was just another great reason for feeling that way.

There's nothing odd about it at all.
How many times can SRD regroup and fight these kind of events? How many fans will lose heart and give up the ghost at the thought of more departures? How many will have looked at this and given up already?
Keeping the Faith looks, sounds and smells like a complete act of stupidity in the face of everything that's taken place!
In the face of everything that’s taken place - you mean the most successful Salford side for decades? Grand final, challenge cup final, playoffs? Give your head a wobble. Of course I will be gutted if Rowls goes, and yes of course I wish we had more money, but enjoy the ride, ffs. Woooooo he’s staying That’s all the club had to do was to make a statement even if it said hull fc has made an offer for Rowley and we are discussing with relevant parties Communication is key No this was what was needed all along!

I think this has to be the last hurrah, whatever that means it sounds final enough for me, take care everyone!
Very odd take. I don’t get what we are supposed to do here. We are where we are, no different to any other club or even company. More money and prospects will turn someone’s head. I’m not convinced it’s the right move for rowley or that he’ll take it but we are stuck in the position we’re in not much the club can do right now. Just keep moving in the right direction. Keep the faith. There's nothing odd about it at all.
