I've been impressed with Amir this season. Definitely made progress, but he's still a way off the finished article, which he'd probably admit to himself. Whether the rolling circus of Hull is the brightest move for the lad remains to be seen. Presuming Cust will take the number one hooker spot from now on. I trust Rowley to know what he's doing with number 9's so will not worry too much. Why would cust suddenly become number 1 hookedr? It's Borough and Mellor currently and that shouldn't change. If either are injured the cust can deputise. We're not even half way through a season so not sure why we're all of a sudden thinking bourgh has left? We're paying his wages and he's the best option currently so plays ahead of cust. I was maybe a bit hasty in saying 'right now.' Mellor injury will see him out for most of the rest of the season. Can see this decision pushing PR into developing Cust ahead of where he maybe have wanted to at this stage. Amir can still play his part of course.

His pedigree amazing but if his attitude isn’t there and Rowley can’t motivate him, then best for all Heard the squad don’t stand for those who don’t align to their rules…. Disappointed in him tbh. Ability and reputation doesn't trump hard work and team mentality. Onto the next signing...

Poor performance coupled with a reffing display where we got absolutely nothing all match. These things even up, my arse.
Leigh deserved winners and the start of our shaky period. Just in time for Wigan and London to break their duck...

No Nofu in a 20 man squad…fit enough for the A Team….something amiss there There is something a bit weird going on. I watched him play in the reserves and he had very little impact and didn't look overly interested. Not great. Unless there's an overriding reason for his absence we're all not aware of...

Brierley's defence doesn't worry me. it's good enough 90% of the time, and in my opinion, I'd rather have a FB that is dynamic in attack over a last ditch defender. It's the way of the modern game. There's merits to both, but if I have to choose it's an attacking FB over a defensive one.

May as well fire this aussie winger back. Complete waste of a wage and quota spot. Get rid Not sure what the issue is with Noafaluma. A fit Nof on his day is dynamite. Hopefully he'll come good as he'd be exactly what we need.

Tight game. Both sides giving it a go. Mistakes cost us in the first half but some stand-out performances from Ryan, MacDonald and Ormondroyd helped us through to the end. Brierley had a game to forget but got us the penalty try. Lots of effort all over as a team and much improved over London. In typical Salford fashion we made it more difficult than it should have been but the two points is a crucial two points against Wire.

People are bitter about the way he went about leaving. Not him leaving.

Seeing a lot of people saying he's saving himself for Leeds. Think there's a lot of Leeds fans living in the past presuming that everyone wants a piece of Yorkshires apparent finest. Leeds are a close second to Hull on the batshit crazy ladder...

Even the snake, who couldn't escape quick enough turned down the cuckoo's nest in Hull for the mighty Huddersfield. Just saying.

Even the snake turned down Hull for Huddersfield. You'd have to be mad to go to them. A poisoned chalice for sure. I am getting a little tired of being SL's 'Academy' and providing players and staff for other clubs...

When I saw the incident, I thought at max it would be ten minutes. Certainly a penalty, but never a red card. Seems I wasn't the only one. Big one for us, as we'll need his size against the Wolves.

Hoping for a more clicked-together performance, regardless of result. I think the constant chopping and changing with injury and suspensions effect us more than other teams as we're not flush with obvious replacements. It's always a high intensity game against Wire and could go either way. We'll need a return to start of the season form to be in with a shout.

Eight games into a season with five wins and two poor performances is hardly having the wheels fall off. You seem easily shocked, russ.
Nobody is putting the rose-tinted glasses on. Let's face it, Salford fans have aways been pessimistic and quick to point out negatives. I mustn't be reading the same posts as you, russ...
