It seems the Club staff is at bare bones.
For instance the kit sales yesterday I understand Steendon supplied one member of staff no money machine and the Supporters Trust sorted out all the staff.

Quick question is Blease still part of the equation as I've not seen any mention of him since the sale. Not seen him on any pictures from yesterday

Quick question is Blease still part of the equation as I've not seen any mention of him since the sale. Not seen him on any pictures from yesterday Would make sense as he was very much Koucashs man and with 4 people at the helm you'd think there would be considerably less for him to do day to day wise.

He was there yesterday. The Board is unpaid and gives the direction. IB is paid and should do the work.

We didn't do the pre-match launch thing but IB was in the tunnel for most of the match. He had quite a serious looking chat with Watto at the commencement of the 2nd half. Neither party looked particularly happy. Dunno what that was about, probably something and nothing. Liked the camaraderie on the sidelines yesterday though with players and staff, all seemed to be enjoying themselves on and off the pitch. Was good to see.

I went for the season launch and the game and Ian Blease appeared very busy to me,meeting people, circulating around to various groups and he was on the phone a lot. I for one think that we fans should stand back and give the man a chance now that the new board is in place and let’s see what develops as the season progresses.

Hearn is DEFINITELY the man to approach. The sport needs a complete overhaul in terms of marketing and he’s the man to provide it.

I don’t doubt Hearn would make the sport money, or himself money out of the sport, but I don’t for one second think he would bat an eyelid at getting rid of salford, Widnes, Wakefield. He’s ruthless, he won’t care about history
Also he may be making himself and his boxers lots of money but he doesn’t half put some rubbish cards on, id worry the excitement of the game may be absolutely secondary to money.
Something needs to change of course, but I think there’s enough knowledge and ideas within the sport to make it better, it’s just been stopped for so long by wood and the hetheringtons
