Hello fans.
Seems that it's now less than 4 weeks until KO so thought I'd ask for feed back and suggestions on the prediction league, we are going to revert this year to the old name of the Eric Shaw prediction league in honour of the great score predictor in the sky.
Last year worked just fine for me, bit of a ball ache at first but got into a rhythm and then it took less than 30 minutes each week, as long as Mrs Mafia uses her magic and produces a league table every couple of weeks I can pretty much run it myself.
So any suggestions from participants about tweaks or improvements?

Same format as last year works for me. I'd make it a 'sticky' post so that it stays at the top of the forum after every round of predictions.

Last season's format was just fine. If it ain't broke and all that...
Looking forward to building on my 4th place finish from last year.

I'm all for progress in most things, but the prediction league, especially now that Eric's name is back where it belongs, should keep the traditional format imo. Anyone who hasn't done it before should join in this season. It's a good bit of banter between us, and is always interesting. Of course, this upcoming season is mine so most will probably not want to bother...  |

You obviously have to pass the fit and proper test to ensure you will fit in with the clique (bungs in the shape of copious amounts of Belgium beer can be paid to speed the application along). Then and only then can you feel like one of the boys, well you could just dye your hair orange and pretend to be a Mod  |
