I am considering going to the above fixture next year and just wondered if anyone who has been can offer some guidance/experience etc as regards travel, organised trips or whether you are best making arrangements separately. i.e. flights/hotel.
I have done a little research and looking at flights to Gerona.
Has anyone else been via Gerona or have any better suggestions re flights/hotels. Do the club do any organised trips?
Thanks

Snap I’m looking at a week in lloret and either car hire or Catalans Sports Tours offer coach transfers if I can find the link again I’ll upload it.

The club trip was usually top end price,so unless you don’t mind paying a premium, there are better options. There are numerous airports to fly to. Girona seems the most popular, with many staying in Lioret. You can find people who arrange transport from Lioret or Dave Foti at Catalans Tours usually arranges transport.Carcassonne from Manchester is a good option but a car hire is a good idea or Train from Carcassonne to Narbonne then Perpignan does work. Other options are Liverpool Nimes 2 hours to Perpignan,Manchester Toulouse 1 3/4 hours to Perpignan Manchester Barcelona 2 hours to Perpignan. Be aware this is peak holiday times and prices will soar and hotels will fill quickly

If you only doing 3 nites, look at ryan air stanstead to perp, fly out thurs come back sun. stopping in ibis hotel in perp. price is ok for us, not priced up the way you going . but my way was not a bad price if you can get a good price on the flite.

I'm doing Air BnB in Lloret (but haven't booked yet). Can't see hotel being cheaper tbh and I like the flexibility of having an apartment. My Girona flights were only £75 return and have seen apartments for under £35 a night.

Most of flites have already gone up quite a bit, once they get x amount on the flite the price goes up. so trying to find a flite at a decent price could be his problem. .
