Baffling...
Every year there's an autopsy after we fail to do anything of interest Internationally, yet keep making decisions like this one and can't figure out why we're awful.

From the looks of the squads that have been announced England & NZ will be very lucky to make the final.
We'll struggle, the coach will leave and there will be an inquest into what went wrong. Then they'll repeat the whole sorry process.

Thing is with Eden, is that pretty much anyone could have scored the tries he has this season. Solomona did the same thing the year before. Good service. Eden is a bottler, and Bennett knows him better than most after his time at the Broncos. There's a reason for that.
Saying that, his other choices are baffling.

I can see Tomkins spitting his dummy that he didn't get the nob once Hardaker got booted.
Wonder if he'll discover some Irish or Scottish roots in time to switch?

Not sure which is most baffling, some of the inclusions or the ones he left out. Surely you have to name inform players? Eden, Mcshane, jamie shaul.

Why doesn't McGuire ever get a mention. Completely controlled the toughest club game of the year and made Gale look what he is a runner.
When you look at the half backs besides Widdop; Williams, slow, Brown and Gale both can' t control games. McGuire gave a master class on Saturday.
