I know he is, just really can't see him getting involved with Salford. If he did it would have Beaumonts stench all over in my mind. He means President of the RFL, I think. I know who he is, my reservation with this would be his affiliation with Leigh and i'd guess as a consequence Beaumont. I think DB and Dr K are cut from the same self serving cloth and are wholey untrustworthy as a result. |

Paul Highton has taken over from Gareth Carvell Great guy and most importantly the right guy to replace Gareth. He has been around the club for X amount of years and I believe he will have the clubs best interests at heart. |

At the risk of upsetting giasf we are now 30 days away from KO and we are still none the wiser on the most important issues. Why the RFL are dragging this out so long can only be a cause for concern, if they were happy the new group would have been ratified so for me there are issues that worry them.
Can anyone confirm that if this isn't sorted by the start of the season Dr K will remain as owner and that any proposed take over/new board can be introduced when the season has started?

MR it's rugby league and it's Salford, so........it's chaos. Business as usual.
ps does anybody know which joker is responsible for the web site. Not all the players are on, and those on still in last year's pictures, numbers etc. Rather than those at the club sending lots of tweets perhaps they might put a bit of effort in and do the basics....or perhaps that needs effort.

Went down to the club and tried the new road. The thing that's missing is the direct link to the car park. It's started but presumably the stadium company will have to build a small bridge across! Another saga begins, seems like War & Peace.
George Griffin seems to now be fit and bulked up; he looks like a prop.
Jones looks as though he has lost at least a stone and looks like a trim second row.
I believe season ticket sales are up on last year.
Things looking v positive so I think it's time for us all to invest in those season tickets now.

The clubs launch of the season is at 11 am on the day of the Swinton match.
Strangely we are launching with the Swinton team AND Salford new signing Ian Blease will be making an appearance.

Well this time in 4 weeks we'll be celebrating a emphatic victory against Wigan and rejoicing at the ease of access and egress from the stadium yet the club have still told us the square root of bugger all.
Cutting it all a bit to fine now for a new board and structure as surely the new board would need to authorise the structure the club must take for the season ahead.

There's word going about that there is an announcement about the Club coming early next week.
