Sau isn’t good enough?? Really? Personally think Junior was one of the players of the season and all this about him not passing is rubbish. Tell you what I'd rather have him in my team rather than playing against him. If Catalan carry on in this form I'd take Inu as the other centre.

On his day he’s one of the best centre’s is the league. He’s a cannonball centre not the slim shenton style even though he still gets 8+ try assists a season.

Those player rated ok must be overwhelmed with that level of compliment for their efforts and talents.
Better than the Lance Todd, Harry Sunderland and Man Of Steel all rolled into one.

Sau is good enough. He provides explosive go forward, tackle busts, and the myth about him not assisting is just that. A myth. His assists when you look at the stats are very good.
I know these things are subjective, but not this one I'm afraid...
In fact, not good enough, is perhaps an unfair label to all of them. They are more than capable players in the roles they've been given. There may be better options in those roles but they are still very good squad players in a game that is all about the squad and not just the thirteen.

That's a fair point actually. I suppose IW will be wanting to improve on this seasons squad regardless. Numbers need to be increased and IW and MK have indicated this. Along with a focus on picking up British talent from the lower leagues and academies could tell you something about how our recruitment will go this off-season. The fact that this season has gone a long way to ease our financial worries also means that maybe a marquee player may come in if available at some point. We can't have a squad of superstars and we'll need good squad players and I feel that we have some good squad players already that fit the bill. What we need is a couple of experienced players in key roles to strengthen the squad regardless of franchise or P&R.

Junior is more than good enough, pretty shocked and possibly a little bit offended you suggest otherwise 😂.
I'm with MR, Inu would be brilliant in the other centre!

To be honest none of the Catalan players have covered themselves in glory this season, a team of great individuals playing poorly as a team. Sounds familiar!

A few months back I said Dobson was finished.I was wrong when Dobson got hurt or dropped Carney did not cover him self in glory, and Dobson's absence did not done us any favours.I still don't think we would have made the top four but we would have made a better fist of it.Dobson has not only done Salford a service but Super League itself. But six months later he as decided himself and I wish him all the best for the future. But after Friday night I honestly don't think Obrien is a good enough seven for the top half of Super League. So I think a scrum half is a must.

You asked me where I was focussing & I was looking at Top 6. Take your views on S`au and know he is a good & popular man BUT I dont need stats/try assists when I watch how a centre plays. He just does not part to his winger - correctly shall I say - drawing the defence to leave the winger free to run. Gleeson could do it and he needs to have time with Junior in the close season.
We need new blood and hopefully you could all come up with suggestions.

Sa'u is a cannonball where as Gleeson was a dancer, both for me equally good at what they did. The game has changed for centres, they are now pacey 2nd row guys with a little more stamina and skill, Inu and Sa'u for me would be immense, add in MV on one wing and Olpherts/Johnson or hopefully MCB on the other and you'd take that as a backline.

& wingers not getting the ball as Inu nearly as bad at parting as Junior. Gleeson could easily teach Junior to swivel before he hits and parts to our valuable asset. We have to feed the Beast. He must be starving right now.
