Happy enough to accept that someone has seen something for the future in him, can't find anything online about his statistics.

Warrington released 2014, played for Halifax, joined Rochdale this year. 18 + 10 sub appearances, 1 try.

British? I see that one of his former clubs was a Queensland feeder team.

He's a pretty sizable prop at 6ft 3 with very good feet from what i've seen. He did a very good stint over in Aus and got into the regional team over there. It begs the question if he was that good surely one of the big boys would of come and got him. However after Brining and how well he's done my attitude towards champ players has changed. I'd assume he's to replace either J or A Walne.

I'd assume he's to replace either J or A Walne. Over signings from the Championship I always assume the coaching staff have done their homework and potential has been one of the key factors. Obviously we all want to see a few more signings especially in crucial roles and for enlarging the squad (very much one of the lessons from this season) I'm not too bothered if they come in dribs and drabs or a quick headline grabbing few days (much better for marketing of course) so long as they come in and answer those two criteria for next year! I can only applaud searching the championship though, because the number of nuggets in that excellent competition is fantastic and I hope there's more to come. I don't know anything about Gavin Bennion but I hope he's a gem.

Heard the same today, apparently a very good prospect. Can't say I've seen anything of him but very highly though of when at wire

Another body in a position we are in need of next season. Can only be a good thing.

He can't be any worse than James Hasson.

A young player in a position we need, hopefully with a point to prove in SL - hope he goes well for us.
