SST is going to be relaunched by Supporters Direct (a national organisation) on Monday 2nd October at 8pm at Salford Roosters Club M30 7LR.
This is being organised by Shirley Bradshaw(apparently like the dormant Forever Reds) and its aim is get a structured relationship between the Club and the fans.
It's an open meeting.
Could be worth us all going. News on season tickets, club name, club investment, Sale buying ground etc should be out by then.

Just hope that Shirley and everyone else has a Salford to follow by the time this meeting happens. Do you know if the club are going to be involved on the night?

From what I can gather it's independent from the Club, like most supporters clubs are, but is a way of fans working together for the good of the club and themselves, and working with the club. I suppose like a mild form of a trade union.

Things like this are a wonderful idea in theory but I do worry that certain more disruptive elements will get involved and ruin Shirleys tireless good work.
I would invite someone from the council along and maybe a local politician to give the group some real gravitas.

I think it's up to level headed people like us, who are generally in the majority, to make sure that doesn't happen. So go along, it's a democracy.
