Terrific performance today. We looked like the team that got us to the dizzy heights of top 4 earlier in the season.
In saying that, Huddersfield demonstrated a level of apathy that I've never seen by a professional sports team in years. They were woeful and didn't look interested from the first minute.
Attendance was very poor from both sets of supporters but hopefully we can get a good turnout for the last home game against Saints on the back of some good performances.

Think only Dobson, Carney, Walne x 2, Krasniqi going + young hooker gone ( Mossop? glass shoulder?) So 5 additions plus 4 squad players to come in? Seems reasonable. More the one direction than the number TBH!

Agree but I think Watson needs numbers as well.

How did O'Brien perform at 7? Would people be happy if Watson decided to rely on a spine of
1 Evalds 6 Lui 7 O'Brien 9 Tomkins
And spend money elsewhere?

He went well, very well but I don't know if he is the boss we need in nitty gritty games. But he looked more confident as he wasn't getting pummelled constantly in the tackle. Evalds. Lui. GOB? Brining. Flash/Tyrone. Now that is just much better. That's a conundrum for next season, Flash or Tyrone at 13 and where to Play the other as 2nd row is one position we really are well catered for.

O'Brien could be the spare 1, 7,9 but knowhere near in the Dobson class. We need a really good 7 and I think Brining as the main 9 with Tomkins or somebody doing a tackling first 20 min.
Short of a leader in the backs, Koppy led the forwards really well, he was the main man yesterday

Agree that OB was very good yesterday, but realistically against a very poor Huddersfield side who for long periods clearly just couldn't be arsed. Still think we need a quality half back brought in who can run the game against the top teams. Been very impressed with Mccarthy since his arrival and its a nice headache for Watto to have with him and Flash vying for 13.

I doubt that. You usually tell us all what we been watching.Don't tell me you went to Salford City. No tweets during the game from the Salfords Red Army twitter page either.....

I believe Dixon picked Evalds as MoM yesterday as although he was OK he was no means a standout - maybe 5 or 6 in front of him.

Thought Junior for his non stop effort and McCarthy for the way he basically takes over as on field captain should have been joint MOM.
I'd go as far as to say next season McCarthy should be captain as he never stops talking to the players and what's more they seem to take onboard what he says.

Yeah think Mccarthy has proved to be a very shrewd signing, especially with all the attention on Manu when they were both signed. Since his debut in the semi final he's put in some solid displays and hopefully more to come from him next season.

No JJR he is Niall`s agent or Uncle & totally obsessed. GOB fitted in well and speeded up play y`day & WAS certainly 1 of the 5 or 6 who deserved the MoM.
